  • To be fair I don’t know a lot of Packers fans who actively were insufferable trash-talkers. They just expected to win, and would just kind of give you a wry smile when you beat them, and that was the most insufferable part: they knew that even if you whooped on them, chances are they’d finish with a better record because Rodgers. More than anything, I hate that about Packers fans - just the fact that they’re HAPPY even when they’re losing. They’re contented and joyful, and it makes me mad more than any trash-talk ever could. This is the first year in awhile I see Packers fans actually questioning the team’s direction, and I love it.

  • This thread is dumb. We are two years removed from a full rebuild. Also, you completely lost me when you mentioned Okudah - a guy who was drafted by the previous regime and was shipped out of here before the season even started.

The only move I’d even consider questioning was waiving a developmental Starling Thomas in favor of keeping Will Harris, and it’s not like that dude is lighting it up with the Cardinals, anyway. Two of the three free agents that were brought in to help the secondary suffered severe injuries, one of which is out for the season and the other will be kept out for most of it.

What’s a general manager supposed to do about a guy who comes back from a torn ACL only to tear the other one on his first play back? I guess Brad should’ve hired better strength and conditioning coaches to help prevent torn pectoral muscles, too! GTFOH. They’re doing the best with what they have, considering. If you want to be pissed that they didn’t draft Jalen Carter or trade for Chase Young, then say so. Otherwise, let’s stop acting as though most of these draft picks haven’t been good to great, and that we’re not 8-3.

Goff definitely played a Stafford game today. 3 interceptions… and not one but two touchdown drives inside three minutes. Jesus Fucking Christ, this team will have me dead by age 55, but I don’t care - TAKE ME TO A SUPER BOWL!

Honestly my thinking is that the Bears threw a 2nd at Washington to keep us from getting Sweat for a 3rd. Only reason I can think of a 2 win team giving up a premium draft pick for a half-year rental. Sweat is good but he isn’t the next Aaron Donald. Hell, he may wind up signing with Detroit next year in free agency!
