I have ALWAYS sucked with Hanzo but in exactly one season I started playing him and had 80% winrate in over 30 games and this never repeated, something felt like it clicked but then unclicked again lol

I have over 200 hours each in Rein and Genji and still suck, eventhough I was t500 in open queue with Rein only in OW1, dont know if it means anything but I dont think my Rein mechanics can improve much more, more so my general game sense. With Genji I learn new stuff all the time.

in OW1 I once deranked from 3600 (low Masters) to 1900 (high gold) and back to 3200 in the next season. There was literally no apparent reason and I just played as usual. Depends, if your main healer is dead and you are going against full energy Zarya + ana its a 4vs2 but still makes sense to pop DB sometimes, unless e.g. your ana is holding nano. It depends but yeah, agreed with your statement. The sense for these situations comes with experience

For lore reasons I like to use Blackwatch or young genji / sparrow. Black watch is also the first skin i bought for ingame credits in 2017

Remember, nothing is really “Op” in this game, you have the same characters. Ofc as an ana a widow will be op and you cant mirror her, but as a tank you can always mirror if even the counters like zarya dont work. If you still lose theres nothing you can do

Never heard of OW2 being hated, its just the devs. If they just continued developing the game like regular humans with functioning brains all would be good, instead of “so we arent gonna do anything to this game at its peak for years cause something big is coming” and then its a scoreboard and a minimalistic look to it
