I had recently discovered this with Hanzo. One week I’m absolute garbage dogshit with him but ever since a few days back? Landing headshots like Mike Tyson throwing haymakers. I’ve been playing Overwatch since 2016, and Hanzo’s always been the one character I could never nail down but it feels like I finally have the gift

I just ranked up 3 tiers in one day off Hanzo alone, this is nuts. I keep this up and I’ll be back in Diamond (first time since 2019), I’m losing my shit

I have ALWAYS sucked with Hanzo but in exactly one season I started playing him and had 80% winrate in over 30 games and this never repeated, something felt like it clicked but then unclicked again lol

I dunno if I’m amazing at Moira, but after trying and failing to climb much higher than low plat with Zen, Kiri and Mercy, I suddenly started playing Moira and made it diamond 2 in about 40 games.

Brig. I wanted to be good with her so bad and finally something clicked. I started using Bash as an escape ability and stopped playing so aggressively. I learned she’s much better utilized defensively and she’s now my favorite support!

Im like this with widow, most of the time I’m really good and can get consistent headshots but then other days I miss every shot I take, and it’s weird too because it feels my mouse sensitivity is higher than it was the last time I played which makes it even harder to keep track of.

    Overwatch things I guess lmao

Just about every character I switch to. Seems I’m best with them the first day I use them. Hanzo was one of them, everyone hated Hanzo’s on your team back in the day because he was “bad” and I used to POP on him. Played him, eventually got bad. Happened with Doom too, he was like a high skill ceiling feeding hero from what I was told. Popped with him and mained him extremely long. Pretty much repeat that with every character except Widowmaker, Echo, and Ashe. Eventually it feels like I get worse with them.

Most recent one would be Tracer. Went from Masters to GM in a week playing her. Was absolutely insane on her and have never touched her before that (and actually tried to be good with her)

Sojourn. I’m a DVA main, and I didn’t like how easy she was to kill… but the more I started using her, the better I became with maneuvering her, and dodging the ops.

I realized that if you just really practice focusing on your opponents figure and your crosshair staying together its easier to be effective on most characters.

I know that sounds dumb but it takes a lot of focus to just focus on their figures and not the things that can cloud your focus on the figures. All the colors, elements, objects can sometimes make it difficult to focus on the figures themselves. Its like my eyes get lazy.

But if I intently focus on the figures it improved my aim.
