I remember getting downvoted to hell when I said ZT would make zero adjustments and run the same offense he did for Joe with Browning because he told people “Jake knows the playbook and can run anything” and he doesn’t know how to scheme up anything else.

They did enough to win the game. They have always been bend but don’t break the past couple years and extremely opportunistic in big situations with takeaways.
Much more concerned with the offensive play caller, RB and TE rooms, and injury prone star QB.
They aren’t as bad as they look. They are being hamstrung by the way the team choose to run the offense. They pass way too much and operate out of shotgun way too much, and defenses can tee off because they know they will be passing all game with virtually no run threat
Perine is much better for the offense that we run than Mixon. We are essentially in 3rd down sets all game because Burrow and Taylor love gun. Doesn’t really matter now though
They won’t. They will run the exact same offense. Taylor even told the sideline reporter at halftime that Browning knows and can run everything as if nothing changes between him and a Burrow. They were still in shotgun non stop with Jake in the second half.
It’s also a problem that Mixon is a 2 down back and the staff uses him as an every down back out of shotgun too much. He can’t eat on first and second down when is part of the problem on third/shotgun formation
I pretty clearly spelled out the video was more important than the article and I posted the major quote from the video and labeled it as misleading since it obviously wasn’t an outright rant, but he said those exact words and he is right.
