Rod bearings are due again. Service history matters more than anything. My buddy has a high mileage (185k) E92 M3 and it looks and drives perfectly. That said, it’s all about how the car was/is taken care of. He also has an X5 4.8is, E60 M5 6MT and has had many other beautiful BMWs, so that should give you an idea of the type of care these things require.

TL;DR If it’s been loved and you have the budget to love it, fuckin send it.

If I’m chilling on the highway, I’m getting 31mpg all day. ~70mph or so. Around the city, about 12-15mpg. Sometimes more sometimes less

Averaging 20mpg combined with a lot of… liberal throttle use.
