This plus the recent contract extension make me agree that McDermott may unfortunately be here no matter how the season turns out.

I don’t want slowik given his single year track record and weak division, but I also don’t get what some of the people here want. People are acting like a top HC with playoff experience is just going to fall from the sky to replace McDermott. The only good HC with playoff experience that is gonna be realistic available is McDermott lol.
If we make a HC change, it will be to someone without a ton of HC experience (Ben Johnson, Kellen Moore, etc.). Why would we want some retread of a HC who couldn’t hack it in the past anyway? Also, the pegulas aren’t going to shell out big bucks for a coach given McDermott just got extended, so anyone saying harbaugh is an option is wrong.
Yeah this is one of those calls that we would be saying is clearly an incompletion if it was on us. Absolutely atrocious officiating last night, but this one I think could have gone either way especially since the call on the field was incomplete.
Just goes to show that McDermott learned absolutely nothing from 13 seconds.
I can’t fathom taking that time out prior to the eagles field goal attempt at the end of the game. All it did was A. Give their kicker more time to prepare for the kick and B. Take away a time out from us if he makes it.
Then of course taking a knee at the end of the game was some all time cowardice from McDermott.
To add something, this game was one of the least important games remaining. We needed to win 4 of our last 6 to have a chance at the playoffs and ideally those wins would all be the AFC games. Obviously this loss is bad and if I had to bet I’d say we miss the playoffs this year. But this was the best team we have left on our schedule and we should have won.
Congrats on meeting the kindest Philly sports fan.
We are so back baby.
Loved Brady’s use of motion and I feel like he had an effective game plan to work in the run based on which back was out there. He had some good route concepts to open up the middle of the field.
I’m scared it’s all going to come crashing back down after one week, but the eagles also lost to the Jets earlier this season.
I partially agree. But McDermott has plenty of blunders in this game. The zero blitz after we had just knocked them out of field goal range, not subbing slowly prior to the half to prevent the field goal, obviously the 12 men at the end of the game.
McDermott can’t force Josh to not throw picks or cook to hold onto the ball. But he’s the head coach and an operation that is this sloppy falls ultimately on him. He’s not just the DC.
Based on the NY times website, we have a 38% chance as of right now.

It’s usually Thursday that I get back on the “we just need to get hot at the right time. Don’t let us sneak into the playoffs” train.
Isn’t it a massive dead cap hit to trade him?
This has to be satire
No, it means no one wanted him for more than a bag of balls. The org would rather keep the depth rather than trade someone they picked in the 1st a year ago for a 7th round pick . That’s just an embarrassing look for the org that they missed that badly.
How dumb are some of these people…? Why would they make our WR2 and one of our captains inactive?
McDermott has never said anything less than Davis being the hardest worker in the building. He will never be inactive as long as he’s healthy and on the roster. No matter what the fans think, what the coaches think is what matters.
Could be a real weapon at OLB.
Wide open Kincaid on a shallow crosser for the first down.
Josh: Nah I’ma chuck this shit deep to diggs.
Yeah idk where “people are finally agreeing it wasn’t a horse collar” is coming from lol. After the jersey pull, he clearly grabs Allen by the back of the shoulder pads and pulls him to the ground that way.
