As every other team minus maybe the wizards or say Portland attempted to trade, add, or acquire talent that’s ready and capable of playing basketball we didn’t. Our veterans started the season hurt. Our coach has a slightly different belief/philosophy/idea of what our team is and can be. Also we have talent that are in roles that they simply are not good enough for.

Roster construction to me is the issue. Troy Weaver saw a 17 win roster last year and decided bringing back Cade after a year off and adding Monte Morris and Joe Harris was enough to help grow our talent. 15 games into the year it’s clear he’s wrong.

Weaver kicking the can down the road and the wiseman trade have been two of the worst gm decisions of the past few years. Being afraid of content with a 17 win team was not optimal for anybody.

Csnt even blame gores fully he’s spent money on coaches and has shown he will spend money if the gm thinks it’s a good idea. The Blake trade was dumb and impulsive but that was 5 years ago lol. We have had 8 frps and unless Duren Cade Ivey or maybe Ausar can consistently show us at least one potential all star, we’ve drafted 8 role players while every other team is finding their star to build around in the same time period.

What pieces in the starting five and bench unit that they have right now to rotate with him fit? I know Duren is out and no bojan

It’s insane how hard this organization wants Killian Hayes to work. You cannot start Hayes Ausar and Cade together why can’t they see this? What numbers do they see we don’t? Now cades shooting worse than ever, looks GASSED, and we have to watch Monty act like he doesn’t see any problems.
