I’m a little surprised you can T’d up for walking up to a guy the way Naz did. It was very nonchalant and aside from the tiny chest bump, almost no actual contact.

Like, if Reid took a defensive stance when he got next to Bane instead of standing straight up and down, play might have never stopped.

The NBA desperately needs to add a 4th official to the floor and get the calls right the first time.

There should have been a whistle on the initial contact but because we are asking the 3 man crew to see through the largest human beings on planet Earth, there are times the person who is supposed to have the angle to call this play has their vision blocked by a 6’6" dude.

Everyone wants the calls right the first time, players, coaches, fans, even officials, so give them another angle to view the action by putting a 4th set of eyes on the floor.

I really did think this roster was salvageable during this past offseason but it required moving Demar Derozan for a power forward…any power forward.

Billy deserves some blame but he’s also severely handcuffed with what he can do with his roster combinations. His options are basically cycling through 6’5" guards off the bench and swapping out one of the 2 centers on the team.

To be fair, I still really like the addition of Torey Craig, if nothing else to get Pat Williams some help as the other 6’7" guy on the roster, but between failing to find an NBA caliber point guard this Summer and failing to add any real size between 6’7" and 7’ tall, AKME needs to start shouldering some blame for this current situation.

Looks like it was for the pull up more than the hang.

Pulling yourself up on the rim is always a tech, hanging on it is hit or miss.

I love Russ. He still has the fire.

He might be lacking some skills as he ages, but the fire never dies.

I swear Gar Pax was petty enough to have wanted to blow up the entire Thibs team out of spite but Jerry would have canned their asses if they had a firesale so we got the slow drip over 3-4 seasons instead of jettisoning a few Thibs holdouts each Summer.

Trading Williams makes no sense if they are trading away Zach and Demar, especially with his value at an all time low.

I do think a change of scenery might be what his career needs, but being the only real option along with Coby White might also be the recipe for PWill’s missing confidence.

It’s going to be so rough to watch him be an integral starter on a championship team in a few years.

We don’t have any size, it was an issue that they failed to address last year.

We have a bunch of 6’6" guys and two centers.

I love both these games as well but totally agree they could have put a lot more heart in to the game itself.

Fuck Shaq’s take here. Trying to defend Draymond and even going so far as to say “Good job Draymond” is a horrific angle to take here from O’Neal.

Shaq has always been a petty, small person on the inside, but this is just a new level of insecurity he is showing here by championing this bully behavior.

Ayo is a nice piece off the bench but I would be surprised if he was ever able to work his way into a starting unit on a playoff team.

Coby is more likely to take Zach’s role if/when the Bulls jettison the mid-3.

I’m not there yet.

I do think we should be starting Craig and letting PWill develop coming off the bench. He was a bench player in college, maybe he’s just more comfortable in that role because he looks lost as a starter.

I’m still hanging on to my PWill stock, but he sure is making me look foolish these first few games for defending him.
