First one should have been a no call or maybe an offensive on KD. Markannen just got in his space so KD freed himself up. Just common off-ball jostling.
Second one was a foul. Clarkson leaned in with his screen then put an elbow into the ribs. On screens you need to hold still, refs let you lean a little bit, but Clarkson leaned too much.

Does anyone else have stream troubles? Mine keeps lagging every couple of minutes or so.
It helps fix a loophole. Past few seasons the Jazz had some players got hit with some flagrant fouls. Refs couldn’t go back and review.
In one play, a Jazz player got hit dirty, the other team knew it, so they immediately take fouled to stop a review. Jazz wanted to have refs go look. Refs were stuck by the rules that they could only look back one play and they could only look at the intentional take foul.

If a player has $57 M and 3 years left on his contract, and he plays bad in the 2nd unit, I’m ok to say that he’s not good and we should trade him.
Ugh, now I feel compelled to defend THT.
His ugly shot selection is down.
His assists are way up. They’re double what they were two years ago in similar minutes per game.
His 3 point percentage is trending up.
His general playmaking is up, most of his drives now involve him always having a backup option in case he gets stuck.
Do I want him as a starting point guard? No. He’s just not the guy. But could he be a perfectly reasonable backup point guard? Yes…yes he could.
Solid game. Took my kids there, two of them had never been to a Jazz game before. We all had a blast.
Jazz are now 1-2 for moral wins on losses.
Right now our defense is league worst. Fun times.
Across the board better team effort compared to last game.
About the only bad one out was Kessler. Didn’t even finish 4th. What’s up with him?

Looked bad: Sexton, THT, Dunn, Kessler
Clippers surprised me in preseason. They’re much more defensively polished than last season. I’d go much higher than #10 for them.
Portland did not look good against our preseason game with them. I’d bet on them.
Jazz+ has been awesome. It hooks in the family. I took the kids to a Jazz game from the free tickets. One kid love his free hat and won’t take it off. Another loves his free shirt. The youngest took his basketball on a family Thanksgiving road trip and insisted on finding a local park to shoot more baskets.
I just didn’t have that before. Cable was too expensive. I didn’t want to risk ads on pirated streams. Now for the first time my kids are watching full games.
