At least I wouldn’t get my hopes up.
At least I wouldn’t get my hopes up.
No reason to play Terry the rest of the season. Time to start elevating the PS and evaluating some young guys. We’ve got maybe 1 or 2 wins left on the schedule as a possibility. Ron Rivera smashing that under on the 6.5 games.
Rivera is a defensive head coach. If you want to blame someone for an awful defense, blame him, it’s his scheme and his players.
Can’t be worse than Rivera. New ownership is going to make some kind of splash move in the offseason to sell those box suites, you can count on that.
I’m looking forward to 2025, but that might be the first year of a ‘full rebuild’ depending on how fast things move this off season.
This ownership group is a bunch of investors seeking a return on cash. They think they can sell tickets with 7-9 wins each year because “Evil Dan Snyder” is gone, but reality is going to set in soon enough.
Just frustrating that we’re not at least acknowledging the offense was sub par yesterday. Not picking up a 1st down before the half, that is choking big time. As you said elsewhere, back-to-back-to-back 3 and outs totally killed our momentum and allowed Seattle to take the lead. When are we actually going to bury an opponent?
Indeed. The offense never bails out the defense. Even when we held Buffalo to like 12 points in 3 quarters, it was the defense’s fault we lost that game too.
Good against trash teams, trash against good teams.
We’ve beaten 4 trash teams by a very narrow margin in each game. We also lost to two of the worst teams, the Giants and the Bears.
A lot of people seem to be treating the losses to Philly as moral victories. Well, we lost.
We’ve won a single game where the opponent scored 18 or more points.
We suck.
Awesome. We have $90M in cap space but we just traded off our season sack leader. Maybe he’ll re-sign with us and stiff the Bears. Where we gonna spend that $90M?
I’ve seen this one before. Remember when Snyder first bought the team? Or how about what the Broncos just did?
No. He negotiated a 50% split on all revenue increases for the next two years. So if the team makes $50M more than last year, Snyder gets $25M right off the top. And if the team were to make a big splash in the playoffs this year, well all the football people are guys he put in place, so he still gets the ego boost.
The first few weeks of the season, we got really, really lucky with penalties. Even Sam’s first game, first drive, he took a big shot that gave us 15 yards to keep a drive going.
The league has figured out how we play offense. Defend against the run and we completely stall out.
Cerrato era: 1 playoff win. Post Cerrato era: 0 playoff wins. I think you’re confused, sir.
