Crap I just finished Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin.
That means I have one week to replay FF1 and make sure I learn all the skills from the Warriors of Light to survive

I just wrapped up the post-game boss battles, ended at 18 hours.
Absolutely perfect length that didn’t overstay it’s welcome, and I felt like I binged it pretty hard.
So BG3 should be what, $200 then?
You can play Tetris perpetually, so should it be $1000?
Also for those playing, don’t sleep on the Bestiary/Scrapbook that was added in the remake, even if you are familiar with the original (actually it’s even better if you are!)
Tons of great entries written by the new team, a lot of jokes, if you are for some reason a “lore junkie” for Mario RPG you will find a ton of content in there. They really did a great job on this remake.
Just loading up MP custom games and super jumping, or that glitch on Burial Mounds where you create the “giant Spartan” glitch, the “stairway to heaven”. Good shit.
Resident Evil 2 (original). Keep my PlayStation hooked up just for the occasion!
I know reddit gushes about Titanfall 2 nonstop but it was a disappointment to me. I found Titanfall 1 to be better in almost every way.
At least TF2 had a campaign, I also don’t really understand the praise for it, it’s solid but I often see “best FPS campaign in the last decade” and I think I played a different TF2 than everyone else
TF1 is absolutely fantastic, and I wish the servers were still playable because I would love to go back to it.
I believe this was the first RPG I ever played, despite the easy learning curve I was unable to beat the final boss as a child.
I am pumped to finally see this through! This game was such a joy and I can’t wait to play it again for the first time in 27 years.
You can’t buy it on PC?
I was going to pick it up in the future on sale, and I’m honestly glad I didn’t. It was a blast, worth every penny, and I am a huge fan when games swing for the fences and offer unique and weird experiences. Remedy deserves all the success in the world for this game
Halo Infinite is in a great spot now, legitimately an absurd amount of content with the barriers broken by adding Forgeable AI.
Even if you don’t want anything competitive, boot up the customs games browser and have your mind blown by what people can create. I’ve been playing a ton of a Battle Royale mode that works incredibly well, all community created
It is definitely more of a cult classic, I personally liked it but I can say the sequel is superior in pretty much every single way. It’s fantastic, even compared to the first one
I would say it is important only because Alan Wake 2 is extremely story heavy. But, here is a video that covers the story so far, presented by the lead writer Sam Lake.
You will be caught up if you watch that, it covers Alan Wake, the Alan Wake DLCs, Alan Wake’s American Nightmare, and Control/DLC.
Alan Wake 2 is kind of a double sequel to Alan Wake and Control, with American Nightmare being a standalone little story that occurs in between. But that is an absolute shit ton of games to need to play in order to experience the new one, I say watch the recap and jump right in!
Plus, you spend half the game as a new protagonist, so even when the player notices connections and plot threads from something like Control, your main character doesn’t even notice, so you won’t ever feel like you are missing out because you know just as much as your character (if that makes sense!)
The Braid and The Witness are two of my favorite games, can’t wait to replay the anniversary edition of Braid
Have fun with Alan Wake 2, I am almost halfway through and it is just a mind-melting blast. I liked the first one but the sequel is just astounding to me
What game?
