I bitched them out, they’ll probably copy paste this response for my ticket too… Really disappointed in Valve. I’m not buying Deckard or Steam Deck 2 at launch until they iron out their QC. People need to stop simping Valve.
good for you. i have 2 dead pixels
Currently waiting for an RMA to be accepted for my LE. Kinda worried since they are out of stock now.
yep, my jsaux matte fit perfectly, unfortunately i got a hair under it :-(
I’m going to keep it a few days to see if the dead pixels subside before putting in my return. I already got rid of one, hoping to leave it overnight on JScreenfix and other videos to get other 2.
i like how one comment on this subreddit called it a “vocal minority” when it is apparently a widespread issue because the LEs use BOE as the sole supply chain… for their flagship product…
what i feared came true, the LE has 2 stuck purple pixels. using jscreenfix to try to remedy the problem. goddamn it.
my Deck has been out for delivery since 3:30am, it was estimated between 10:10 to 2:10 and now it just says end of day. Thanks FedEx.
return while you can. you pay that much so you deserve the best
thank u all very much for confirmation, didn’t know about that video
Finally got a ship date for Monday 10am to 2pm on my Limited Edition. Super hyped as I will be home to intercept that day.
it feels good to leave packaged item purgatory. good luck
My label was just created today. Finally out of Packaged Item hell. How long should I expect before getting a delivery date? (1TB LE, USA)
Ordered Thursday 30 minutes after launch, Packaged Friday, 4 straight business days sitting in a warehouse, finally shipped Wednesday today. There is Hope, Thursday Buyers.
I ordered the LE 30 minutes after launch and it’s still packaged what the hell and i’m close to the distribution center

Made a video showcasing the performance loss in Yuzu BOTW (yes, I know you should use CemU to play BOTW, I used it to showcase the performance degradation.
I have 3 1TB SD cards that I offload my games on, and create collections in my steam library to organize them. I highly recommend using SD cards like game cartridges. I have 1.3 TB of 2TB on my SSD free with most of my favorite indie games and games that require SSD on my main drive.
jsaux anti-glare screen protector works great for the 64gb deck, couldn’t be happier
Bad news, Valve is now telling people via Support to keep their Decks with dead/stuck pixels to see if they fix themselves with normal use. So even if you request an RMA, they will deny you for 30 days, then you can return it. If you return it within the 14 days, you lose out on the LE. I’m going to use it for a while and see if it’s a big enough of an issue to RMA. I’ve had 1 pixel fix itself so I’m hopeful but still want to exercise my consumer right to get a non-defective product lol
