Ref has no choice when the coach says something like that. You can’t physically challenge a player on the court. Ime needs to lace them up and take the court if he wants to talk shit. Really he should sit out a game. One thing to do it to your own players but on the other team?

Adding spacing to our best players makes it easier to score. We need to flip our bench bigs into something that can space the floor. Really another scoring guard. Doesn’t matter how many we need to send out to do it.

If we send Dick to the G league to get a rhythm and play others instead of him we’ll be oaky. He really needs a good run in the minors until he shows he can play in an NBA game. He’s our tank commander right now. Insert him into any lineup and we’re the worst team in the league. Without him we’re mostly net positive.

Grady needs G-League time. That’s what our current struggles come down to.

The team really should have 2 more losses than we do. 4-10 or maybe only one if we take the Chicago game. 5-9.

I guess we should hold off for about 6 more games, get a quarter of the way through the season and see where we stand.

There is so much noise right now between new system, new point guard, new bench, and returning players, half still trying to figure everything out.

Every game they come out so flat.

The starting 5 are +5.6 net rating and have played together about 18% of the total min played and that lineup has only been available for 10 of the first 14 games.

The next most played lineup has only played about 5% and that’s the starters with Gary instead of OG and that’s only happened in 7 games.

Trying to protect Grady’s min they have played him with Dennis yak and pascal with gt and that lineup has been -16 net bad. So 6th man and 3 starters and Dick, and they’re getting drilled.

Then Grady with the starters but in for OG and it is way worse -50.5.

So really trying to develop Grady at the NBA level is killing us.

(Note those Grady lineups are the 4th and 5th most used 5 man lineups!)

Insert Otto or flip yak for Gary and the lineups are really good again.

Developing even 1 raw rookie costs a lot.

The problem is that Toronto would have to make that trade with others in mind. They want their salaries to be just below the tax line. Trading Yak and creating cap space with the move doesn’t help so unless someone making around 17-19 mil in salary is coming back it doesn’t work financially with Toronto. What package makes sense at that price point?

Note: salary dumping Davis Bertrans is of no interest to Toronto.

Come up with a set of players that makes sense money wise and go from there.

Though to value picks because each year they come up is very important. Rumours was 2023 was a good draft year, 2024 will be less so, not sure about 2025 and 2026 has Boozer and Flagg which must be good because I know their names and they’re not being drafted for years.

Ya the way that shot came off GW looks like he caught the shooting elbow of Wemby. Maybe that is the way to defend him. Smack the elbow down low where no one sees it and let him shoot. Not a clean way to defend but effective when there’s no call.

This is like a 50/50 chance of being him.

It is likely someone close to him or the coaches that moved to Philly with him.

Just looking at a list, someone close to Rico, Fabulous, John Corbacio, Kareem Thawer or one of them as well.

Nothing that was said explicitly make these Nurse and really anyone that was close enough to move with him or in their orbit are just as likely to make these comments.
