Did you see Jeudy’s locker room interview? He’s buying in. He’s psyched. He’s jumping on Court’s back when he scores and making pump fakes and lowering his shoulder for extra yards. Court is going ham with the fans and defending Russ on IG. Simmons is leading a seemingly near elite defense. The ship is turning around for real this time. This is the first time I’ve seen the Broncos play like a real team - top to bottom psyched for each other, playing for each other, fighting for each other - since 2015. I love it!
5 weeks ago people were saying we had to trade guys like Surtain, Bolles, Simmons because they’ve only been apart of losing cultures and you can’t establish a winning team with players like that
People are insane man. I don’t know how you can be a fan of this sport and believe in some of the narratives these guys believe in. Things can change in the blink of the eye in the NFL - it never takes 5 years to build a team in the NFL, especially when you have a coach like Payton
When people were talking about draft position I said if the Broncos were going to be a good team in the near future it wasn’t going to be because of draft stock, it’s going to be because Sean Payton is a top tier HC, and I’ll stand by that
I’m not gonna lie and pretend I understand our cap situation this off season, but I’d love to see Sutton and Jeudy next year along with a rookie WR like Nabers (provided he’s the best value where we pick). Throw in some development from Mims and the WR corps is looking good.
