KOC is not results driven. He is process driven. I think this loss stings more than previous ones because we did not have a good process in place. It wasn’t just execution. Our game plan was out of wack and KOC is taking full responsibility for that.
I think he’ll improve the process every year.
How so?
The fact they got Dobbs right before the trade deadline after Cousins went down. Gives me a lot of faith in their ability to evaluate a QB, and our Cap simultaneously.
I have no talents or practice in evaluating QBs.
Prediction: we’re going to win the Superbowl
The NFL has no standards. As much as I hate Peyton. There are a lot of players/coaches that would go first.
Dobbs is playing well enough that there isn’t a reason to “see what we have” in our rookie. Especially with playoffs looming.
I was actually really sick while that game happened. Didn’t have the capacity to feel let down at the time. Then afterward it seemed like a very Vikings thing to do. We got annihilated. Making it an easier loss to accept.
You explained who Justin Jefferson is. But who is this KOC person?
Why wasn’t he on a team already?
I don’t think the lesson was necessarily to not take the foot off the gas. But the need to improve our ability to take time off the clock. He hasn’t had to coach much with a lead.
They have us top 10? Thats pretty high. No complaints here.

Now this is a post I can get behind.
You’re getting down voted for pessimism, but the Broncos are on a tear. Hopefully we can crush them.
You can’t build a winning culture by tanking. Just look at the Lions last season. Started off horrible and could have tanked to get better draft picks. Instead the coach rallied the team, and they ended the season by keeping the Packers from making the playoffs.
With that player buy in that he won’t give up on them, they’re killing it this season. It’s all because of the coaching and culture, not draft capitol. Even if you’re 0-16, you should fight to rise to 1-16.
Not enough minions
I’ve seen $40mil/year floated for JJ a lot. Not sure on the other guys. Cousins should have a lower contract than he once might have due to ACL. If we even sign him at all.
Go away.
