Never required but I would always recommend, especially for new builds.

Terrified of power consumption?
Sounds like you need to talk to a shrink more than R/intel
This year is done, just figure out what to do for qb next year.
Want to re sign old Kirk who is coming off injury?
Draft a new qb in the first round?
Will Hall be any good?
I use win 10 with 13600k.
No issues.
Can’t speak to performance vs win 11.
You would probably be very happy with either.
Go with whatever you get the best deal on.
For most users, you won’t be able to tell the difference.
Mattison playing this bad is one of the weirdest things I can think of in pro sports.
When he was the backup to Dalvin he looked really good, even when he had to start while cook was out.
Now he looks so much worse, can’t run that great, and the fumbles… oh man the fumbles.
Poor Carolina….
5700xt should have been on the list, aged so well….
If they don’t allow the saints to hit Favre with illegal hits he never throws those interceptions.
Hell if they just called the penalties they would have been able to just hand the ball off most of the game…
I never expected much from that team, never had enough faith in the qb.
2009 was our year and we got horrendously screwed by the refs vs Saints. That hurts even worse than 98 because at least in 98 they lost on their own, vs refs absolutely winning that game for the Saints.
All depends in use case, if you are doing lots of cpu intensive work, get an serious aio.
If you are mainly doing just gaming and lighter workloads, a nice air cooler or smaller AiO should be fine.
I like hybrids but also not big on CVT, if I was to buy a new Toyota, would likely be the Crown Platinum.
Which makes me question, if CVT’s are better why did Toyota not use it in the top of the line Crown?
Only worth switching to 14600k if you need to do cpu intensive work.
Not worth it for gaming.
Cpu is less important at higher res, and with weaker graphics cards.
If you have a top tier card (4080, 4090 or 7900xtx) and you game at 1080 you will see a big jump in many games. But at 4k the only way you will see much difference is with a 4090.
Don’t put a 9900k. Sell old parts and put towards new parts.
12900k, 13600k etc kill 9900k.
Seen AP a few times at the Casino.
Saw Ray Edwards coming out of a movie.
Side note I saw KG when I worked at Blockbuster like 20 years ago.
