Every single goddamn match for the last week I’ve been matched with absolutely bots with no thumbs while the enemy team are generally all very good. We’re talking the kind of match where the highest k/d on your team is 1:9 and the enemy team all go 25:1. I’m pretty damn mediocre at the game.
Every. Single. Game. For a week. Why does the game think I’m God and keep matching me with absolute bots?

This is what I call “suffering from success”
Eventually you get so good at the game the match maker has to sort you with scooter riding pimple popping vbuck sucking controller slobbering degenerate sock abusers. God is punishing you for trying to give him competition.
It can also depend on the time of day. If you play early, you kind of have to carry to rank up. I wish that wasn’t the case, but it is.

I had a dps who went 7-15 one game and showed up the next game in my team again and went 22 - 8 or something. I wonder what flipped ? Did we have a better tank ?
It’s a team game - try to play around your team. If wins is all that matter then learn meta heroes or a pick that enables your team. Does the enemy team have a widow who is rolling you - either swap to a sniper or go sombra. Find what’s causing the enemy team to win team Fights and try to nullify that.
Just then I had a game where my DPS were getting rolled and feeding every fight and we lost hard.
Then the very next match I versed them and they played significantly better all-around. But we won still.
I think the biggest factor is the tank. If you have a tank that knows what they’re doing, the rest of the team can all play to the fullest. But if you have a tank that acts like they have 5000hp and W keys in every fight and dies, the rest of the team has to compensate and can’t play their roles effectively.
The tank is the most important player on the team by far, so if they’re lacking, so will the rest of the team. That’s the main reason I don’t like playing tank, because there’s way too much pressure on me to perform well and I don’t like that.
Bring back 6v6 fr. The stress alone of being the only tank player is enough for most tank players to play bad. If I had another tank to back me up, I’d feel far more confident in my plays.
I just played a game where my hog ignored every enemy on the way to the point causing them to kill us in a 4v5.
Same its either my team stomps in terms of skill/counter knowledge or the other way around
Skill issue. You dont need good teammates to win. Just get better instead of complaining
