Are F-Zero fans patient or have they just given up?
Take for example Banjo Kazooie, a series very dear to me. I had to leave the BK subreddit because every time a game convention or awards or whenever they usually make big announcements the sub would get these crazy delusions that something would be announced and then super disappointed when nothing inevitably did. I’ve given up and come to peace with ever thinking that BK will get a new game and consider my mental state healthier for it.
I think F-Zero is along the same lines

Half Life, I will always have hope for HL3
The thing is with Half Life I feel Valve always wants to do something revolutionary. Not too different from how GTA sort of sets the standard for open world games. With Half Life Valve wants to change a part of the industry
Half Life Alyx was huge for the VR. Now I wonder they want something new like this for Half Life 3. I thought it was a game that could be seamlessly played in VR or with mouse/keyboard. Just something we’ve never seen before.
It’s definitely coming one day tho I feel Valve really wanted the pressure to be lighter. Alyx did just that.
Pantheon MMO… those poor guys have waited 10 years and the games not even in Alpha…
The Silent Hill community. They are hyped up and let down repeatedly, most recently by Ascension.
GTA and Stalker heart of Chernobyl
The Sonic community is the worst. But also, what other community would stick with a franchise with more bad and mid games than good ones?
Elder’s Scrolls and GTA communities have been kind of patient lately.
One of the oldest beloved franchise without a new opus recently, maybe KOTOR?
Am I the only one still waiting for a new Golden Sun game? :(
