Pantheon MMO… those poor guys have waited 10 years and the games not even in Alpha…
None my Aunt sheltered her kids from Call of Duty… They still got the experience from their friends and ended up with a worse parental relationship as a result
Stanley Parable. Less action, more funny/mystery. Game takes less than 2 hours, less than 5$. Totally worth a play. Portal Series is similar and also gets a recommend from me.
There’s a lot of full ports, maybe just try looking up a game you’ve wanted to try. GTA runs well, Balder’s Gate, FFVII, Roller Coaster Tycoon, these are all full ports I’ve sunk 100s of hours into.
PVP games recommend: League of Legends, Magic the Gathering, (there’s a lot of good card games.) All ported and optimized for mobile.
The last thing I’ll mention: full board game ports are amazing. Terraforming Mars, Evolution, Root, Catan, etc. Good mix of solo play and multiplayer. Try searching for your favorite board game.
The mobile gamer has more choices than even, and I think there are a lot of great mobile experiences.
PS: I never heard of the games you listed, so I looked them up. You might really like Card Thief, it’s a story puzzler style game.
Fall Guys is more fun than it should be.
Ive basically left the hobby at this point. F2P Competitive games don’t exist, you can’t have competition when players have different level units, or different units entirely. 100+$ to reach ‘even’, is both equal parts absurd and cheap?
Whales get modern gaming, I learned chess instead.
Progression in a Roguelike is identical to any traditional MMO, expect you fast forward your progression into a 20-30minute session.
Roguelikes have anywhere from 5-10 core builds (think of them like classes in RPG) each core build might have differences between them (I’m thinking like Specs in WoW).
So your typical roguelike might have dozens, maybe hundreds, of different builds you can mix, match, customize.
I don’t normally view dying in a roguelike the same way you are looking at it. I think of it as “okay I played that class what happens when I try X.”
Recommended Titles:
Deck building is the most common system for these games now and the traditional classic to introduce the genre is Slay the Spire
RPG: since you mentioned liking these Hades might be the best match for you.
FPS: My personal favorite is Risk of Rain 2
Internet Historian: if you want to play the very first from a historical point, but also extremely good game play Binding of Isaac
Super secret best roguelike ever made? Play this after you have experience and never read a single a review or spoiler beyond the game’s title: >! Inscryption!<
