I’ve seen way too many of these takes since our loss and they’re just so laughably dumb. People saying that he has already checked out, or that his off the field interests have become more important to him than success with the Chiefs. (Or that somehow his love life is dragging him down.)

Kelce is the Chiefs’ leading receiver in basically every category that counts. Receptions, yards, TDs, YPC, you name it. But when you point that out people say, “well yeah, because our receivers suck…”

OK, they do - so how is Kelce doing vs other TEs in the league? How about this:

  • #2 in receptions (with 2 fewer games played than #1)
  • #3 in yards (again, fewer games than #1 and #2)
  • #1 in yards/game
  • Tied for #2 in TDs

Yeah, he’s lost a step, but the man is still balling out for this team while some of you act like he’s a shadow of his former self.

I go to multiple chiefs sites a day and I have yet to see one post that says he has.

He’s having a terrible season. 8 out of 10 games he’s had 70 yards or LESS receiving. Drops. Fumbles. He looks old and slow. Friday night partying in Texas, 36 hours before a game in Denver. Flying to Argentina during a bye week then following it up with a game where he had a crucial drop and a fumble

Idk if he’s checked out or what. But this narrative that he’s having a tremendous season is laughable. He had 1 monster game. 1 real good game and 7 shit games

Dude at work was like, “Oh, he goes to Argentina on his off week with you know who and comes out and lays an egg. He’s not taking football seriously anymore.”

Granted he is a Bengals fan and is a classic hater but come on. Dude enjoyed his bye week, didn’t commit any crimes, and assumedly took care of his (and her) body.

That’s what bye weeks are for you dumb Bengals assclown! Like Kelce is unaccustomed to living life in the public eye all of a sudden /s. Dude is getting double teamed every damn play and the other receivers can’t beat single coverage. Kelce is far from the issue with our O

Kelce has played 9 games and put up 641 yards and 5 TDs. Project that to a 17 game season, and that’s 1210 yards and 9 TDs. That would be better than Kelce’s 2021 numbers. If he hadn’t missed the first game of the season, we’d be 8-2, he’d have maybe 700 yards, and no one would be chirping.
