Hi folks - long time lurker first time poster. Thinking about ideas for Xmas to give my wife and I’m inclined towards a driving experience and could use your help - what would you chose if you could take one for 6 laps at a track? (Toronto Motorsports park). The most exciting thing I’ve ever driven is probably my 79 Vette so I’m a complete noob when it comes to these. I’m leaning towards one of the Porsches so I hope it’s ok to post here

Appreciate your input!

Did the one in Vegas a few years back with a Lamborghini Gallardo. The laps go by quick. About the time you get a feel for the car it’s over. Like the 3 dances in a private room at strip club package. (Or so I’m told.)

Thanks all ever so much for the input! Didn’t realize I didn’t have to chose car at checkout but alas, I’m booked for 8 laps and leaning towards the evo (splurged the extra 15$ for coach).

    600LT

i’d avoid the challenge cars since you dont have much track experience. you really have to throw your gut feeling out the window and trust the cars cornering ability which can be un nerving. the 600LT has a ton of straight line pull and will probably give you the most enjoyment. and you dont have to deal with mclaren depreciation or reliability, a big reason why people pick porsche over them

    991 GT3, but I’m biased towards 991s 🤣

The challenge EVO. Would be cool if they had a GT3 cup for comparisons.

I did a driving experience in Vegas last year where I did 10 laps with an instructor in a 992 GT3 while my friend did a 992 GT3 RS. I can confirm either of those options are incredible and won’t disappoint. I can’t speak to the other options, but I’m sure they’re equally as incredible.

The Ferrari 458 Challenge EVO… but I drive a 992 Carrera T on a daily basis, and yes I know a GT3 is a totally different car, but still closer than a 458.

ok so i did a very similar event with 458s, huracans and gt3rs cars. i chose the 458, since i loved the looks and performance seemed great. looking back and having the opportunity to drive a gt3 afterwards(non RS), i would choose the gt3rs if i could go back in time. (992 in this case) it simply took too long to get comfortable with pushing the 458. the few laps i had was not enough to truly enjoy the car. i would say the gt3rs is the best bet. never been in a car with so much performance where you feel comfortable driving so quickly. i truly feel that you would get more out of your experience this way.

None of them. 6 laps simply isn’t enough to be worth what they probably charge for this kind of thing.

The correct choice here is the Evo. If you have to drive a Porsche, it’d be the GT3 RS.

    Agree with the 458 challenge.

    Otherwise GT3 RS 991 > 992 GT3
