Love to hear that you’re enjoying it! 1200 miles already, nice work :). I still haven’t gotten to hear an LT6 in person, I can’t wait. And coming from a wing guy: the Z07 pack wing looks sick! Maybe you’ll learn to love it more :)

On the alignment: tramlining could also be the tires fwiw, doesn’t the Z07 pack come with Cup 2s? That’s a known “issue” with those tires (as is noise). The alignment could be off, but it could just be reasonably aggressive factory specs. My 911 came relatively aggressive from the factory and when I replaced the tires I made the mistake of letting the dealer align it without asking for anything in particular… so they gave me THE most basic “don’t hurt yourself” alignment. The car was basically inert until I had it redone and specified what I wanted. It’s fantastic now by comparison, dynamically excellent on the limit versus criminal understeer before (at least, at autocross - 10/10ths on the road is not my game, and I’m still too big of a pussy / confident in my stupidity to track it).

    Enjoy it in good health!

  • Indeed it is. Even the non-RS allroads look awesome! Audi really knows how to do wagons.

My childhood dream car was an E46, fed by Need for Speed: Most Wanted. The top villain in the game had one with blue graphics along the side, such a sweet car. I still haven’t picked up one of those… they’re at an awkward price point nowadays, just a bit more than I think they’re really worth.

  • Just picked up the second in my flair yesterday! I’ve loved these wagons since back when Audi said they weren’t coming to America.

Next on the dream list is to a Ferrari with a V12. I don’t think that would be for long term ownership like my current cars because Ferraris are decidedly NOT known for reliability or reasonable upkeep costs. But a moderately used one that I won’t lose my ass on might be possible one day, and I want that sound and experience for a few months.

  • I gained ~130whp (~30%) from high flow cats and a tune. Monster speed.

E85 would get me another 20-30. An intercooler would be necessary to sustain that, probably. Methanol would get me another 20-30, above 600 now. The stock turbos run out of headroom around there (that’s north of 30psi) as far as I know, but I believe the internals are good for another 100+ with bigger snails.
