On pace for 4900-38-10 on 69% completion percentage, helping to drag a team that started 1-4 back into the playoffs, and without his OPOY WR1.
The MVP race is dogshit this year, with Hurts in the lead with 2400-15-9 and 9 mostly tush push rushing touchdowns.
Would Kirk have won it this year? Probably not. But he would have undeniably been one of the front runners, he was playing that well.
I loved how he framed it “help drag a team that started 1-4 back into the playoffs”
… you don’t think Kirk had anything to do with why they started 1-4?
He played well this season but man some Kirk fans here act like the guy is Aaron Rodgers… and that he didn’t almost single handedly lose us the game @Carolina
The football gods don’t want us Vikings fans to have nice things.
Really pulling for a speedy recovery for Kirk and a huge bounce back year, wherever he plays.
He was in line for a monster season without JJ too.
He is receiver proof.
He was incredible this year. Can’t wait for him to suit up for us next year!
People weren’t appreciative of Kirk this year and it bums me out. Dobbs is a cool story but you see where his arm/accuracy make you miss Kirk’s.
Dobbs for mvp
It’s hard to start 1-4 and be in the MVP discussion. I think it would have taken something like us running the table for the rest of the season which was pretty unlikely. We got back to 4-4 with him and he looked pretty good doing it but that’s all we can really say. If we were 6-2 or something and had beaten the chiefs or eagles as well then for sure I think Kirk would have been realistically in the race. Our schedule got really soft after the 49er game so that would have been used against him.
Could care less if Kirk has an MVP caliber season if it doesn’t come with playoff wins.
Nah it’s hurts’ to lose at this point
Dobbs picked up where he left off! #WeAreGoingToStartaCoversation
