Are we forgetting that we drafted the literal GOAT in the 7th fucking round of the draft, and I am very well aware of BBs poor drafting record however when compared to other coaches in the league he isn’t the top of the pack when it comes to draft picks, he’s also not in the worst of the worst in the league either. He’s mediocre at drafting. So how does he have more superbowl rings than fingers if he sucks so bad at drafting. Simple really, the draft doesn’t fucking matter, it’s random chance, Peyton manning was drafted round 1 first pick and so was Jamarcus Russel. Ultimately using draft picks when posturing trades could be more useful for us. However the idea that a draft pick is gonna be our saving grace is honestly stupid.

Ps. With all this said I genuinely hope I eat these words and we go 2-15 and draft Jesus Christ as our quarter back

FYI dude. While WE think Bill is a terrible drafter. If you actually look at the results over 20+ years he’s one of the best in the league. Ever. Scary to say that. But it’s factual.

Dude. I’m not here to do the research for you. Eff off with that. This isn’t the AP I don’t have to provide sources. It’s out there. Go search google yourself. Look up best drafting and what teams draft well and there is a crap ton of data and info about the Pats and Belichick and how well they do over all.

You have a better chance of hitting with a pick in the top 5. We got Brady and he could cover up some of Bill draft mistakes. One pick won’t do anything but a good pick like Joe Burrow or Trevor Lawrence helps.

If Brady was so good, why draft several other players before him? Why not take him with a first or second round pick?

And… no, I don’t expect a deep playoff run with 1 pick. Lets say we get the next Joe Burrow though. Are you gonna tell me with a QB that good that we couldn’t through the draft and FA assemble a team in a year or two that could make a run?

The Patriots are light years away from 1 draft pick making a difference.

1 WR? He’ll need somebody to get him the ball. 1 QB? He’ll get shell shocked and end up with PTSD behind our O line. 1 Lineman? Who did you want him to replace, Onwenu whose not getting resigned or Strange who can’t pass block in the NFL? Keep in mind David Andrews is going to be 32 years old and the only reason why there’s no press coverage of how much his effectiveness has dropped off is because everyone else is worse. His alleged replacement Jake Andrews (no relation) has yet to see a snap not on special teams. 10 games into his rookie year and the coaches don’t think he’s ready to take 1 regular season snap with the starting offense or even garbage time. (and there’s been plenty of garbage time opportunities this year).

The Patriots are at least half a dozen well seasoned, effective NFL Offensive side of the ball players away from being a competitive NFL team.
