He didn’t light up the scoreboard but for a rookie AOC had a dam good day. Maybe the WRs are making him look better than he really is but AOC hasn’t looked bad. Obviously he could be upgraded but obviously he could get better in a offseason and with a better OC.

Dual threat QBs get injured, just like RBs do. Then they aren’t dual threat anymore.

Really don’t need a dual threat QB. But do need a QB with mobility enough to get some yards when things break down. A QB’s ability to process information, pocket awareness, and make the correct and accurate throws is always the most important asset. The legs help make up for deficiencies in the O-line.

What’s important isn’t to have a QB who can rush for 500 yards. What’s important is to have a QB who can avoid sacks, extend plays, and run in short yardage. Carr, Garoppolo, and O’Connell all lack that, which has made it difficult for our offense to be consistent week to week. One pass rusher beats his man and they go down too easily.

Mobility helps, but the o-line is the weakest unit on the team. I think it’s the number one reason for the offensive struggles. I think all QBs would struggle with the Raiders current line.

Herbert and Mahomes aren’t duel threat…but the passer need to have some component of running to their game, and willingness to use it.

One of the more frustrating part of DC’s game was that he was actually pretty quick, but had no feel when he needed to pull it down, when to scramble to pass and when to throw it away (which happens still too fast).

DC broke his hand trying to stiff arm a guy on the Bengals early in his career. Pretty sure the coaching staff at the time really emphasized keeping him in the pocket to prevent that from happening. That’s what he grew up with. DC wasn’t a dual threat, but he could pick up a first on third and medium if the defense gave him a lane.

I just want a good offensive line. I don’t want my QB out there running for his life every down because he has to like Fields last season.

Protected statue > Shoulder destroyed running for 4 yards like Anthony Richardson.

It’s heartbreaking that the Saints fans echo this exact same sentiment today.

You mean the Madden Football created player that we always arm the Raiders with on our first season in franchise mode?

4500 yards passing. 1500 yards rushing. 15-1 record. Yearly.

Created player? I traded for Daniel Jones. He throws for like 500 yds/game.
