Pete Carmichael has been the OC for this long an haven’t gotten a sniff at HC for a reason…he’s a Todd Downing level coach.

naaaah.
Just because we were about to spend a 1st round pick on Paris Johnson if hey fell to us, but since he didn’t, we spent NO ADDITIONAL MONEY OR DRAFT PICKS ON O-LINE, doesn’t mean we need to do anything with 1 good, 2 meh, and 2 gaping turnstiles on the o-line.
Herbert and Mahomes aren’t duel threat…but the passer need to have some component of running to their game, and willingness to use it.
One of the more frustrating part of DC’s game was that he was actually pretty quick, but had no feel when he needed to pull it down, when to scramble to pass and when to throw it away (which happens still too fast).
I hope Mark makes it hard for them at every turn, since the A’s organization did the same in Oakland.
The A’s have been crying poverty since the bash brothers were a thing, but the fact of the matter is that the Bay Area is rich enough and populated enough to support 2 baseball and 2 football teams, but the A’s chose to make easy money and in the process, pushed out one of the football teams.
Fuck the A’s.
I got in at 11.5 spread for Dolphins to cover. I also put a sprinkle on the moneyline for Raiders to win. There is no inbetween in this game, as the Raiders will just shock the world, or won’t show up, since this is an early game on the east coast, and I don’t recall the last time the Raiders were ever good for one of those games.
I think this game would be greatly improved if Al Michaels enters into a crossover promo with a gambling site, and shares all of his bets on the game in real time and openly reacts to his props getting hit or missed.
We all know Herbstreit worships at the alter of football too much to gamble on it, so the combination of an actually engaged Al Michaels and a squirming Herbstreit would go a long ways to making this football game not suck.
Take the under.
Don’t have to root for a loss, also win money
