Now that we’ve had the opportunity to hopefully sleep it off and sober up (for some of us), what insights do you have from last night? Or if you could sum it up with one thought, what would it be?
Mine is that it didn’t matter if we had Milano, Tre, or DaQuan - the strategy on D in 4th Q & overtime wasn’t going to change and that’s the problem. McD hasn’t learned shit in all these years and it will be his undoing.
Joe Brady good. Josh good. Offense and OL good. Special teams weren’t perfect but it’s tough to blame them in that weather.
I’m just so tired of this defense crumbling when the game is close. I like McD a lot but for as good as he is normally it seems to all go out the window in tight, important games.
Prevent D doesn’t work. Never has. And, even if it did, we let miracle catches in the back of the end zone happen pretty regularly. So, yeah… even with the injuries, the strategy at the end of the game was just piss poor.
Yes, our defensive minded head coach is wasting away the best years of a generational talent at QB. Fans are finally coming around to the fact that McDermott doesn’t learn from his own past mistakes and has hit his ceiling as a coach. It’s holding this team back. He is at a dead end now with no more scapegoats left. Although I’m just not sure if Kim and Terry Pegula have what it takes to fire him at the end of the season, if not sooner (i.e., when our playoff chances are near zero). My fear is that they keep him around until the end of his contract and we’ll be subjected to this madness for many years to come.
Blow it up. This team ain’t it.
Part of me says let’s tank for draft capital but let’s let the bye happen and see what playoffs look like. I think we have a leg to kinda stand on aka Josh Allen
That my life as a Bills fan is a miserable existence and I plead with God every day just to take the hurt away and stop hating my city
That I need to quit football, it’s bad for my health
I proceeded to lose my fantasy later that night on Lamar kneels, I can’t keep doing this.
If I had any lingering doubts about the NFL being fixed, those doubts were eliminated last night.
I’m not mad or frustrated with McD or the players. The refs literally stole the game from the Bills. I feel foolish for being as invested as I’ve been this season. I’ll still watch games, but with the mindset of watching a scripted TV show or something.
