Hochuli did an interview and defended every call.
Same as I felt last week. He’s the guy who turned the franchise around, he deserves the benefit of the doubt.
The loss last night wasn’t McD’s fault, lol. The game was obviously, blatantly fixed. Bills should have won by at least 10 if the refs didn’t fix it.
The NFL is pro wrestling level scripted at this point. I can’t even discuss McDermott or anything else. It’s just laughable. The Bills would have easily won if the refs actually reffed.
If I had any lingering doubts about the NFL being fixed, those doubts were eliminated last night.
I’m not mad or frustrated with McD or the players. The refs literally stole the game from the Bills. I feel foolish for being as invested as I’ve been this season. I’ll still watch games, but with the mindset of watching a scripted TV show or something.
A complete lie within the first 25 seconds. Come on, Eisen.
“As of late?”
The Bengals are 3-0 vs the Bills in playoff history.
Don’t like the Bengals, never have. They’ve knocked the Bills out of the playoffs 3 times over the years. They’ve employed a large number of the dirtiest players and biggest scumbags in NFL history. And the fawning over Dalton six years after the drought ended is cringey af. Dalton didn’t “end the drought,” the Bills did. FTB.
Their fanbase is probably like every other fanbase…mostly cool, with a few knuckleheads.
Personally I think the whole “if you complain about the refs, you’re a crybaby loser” and “at the end of the day, bad refs are no excuse for losing” mentality helps justify and normalize refs deciding the outcome of games.
Make the “non-judgmental” penalties like PI and holding reviewable, and at least half the problem is solved.
