As the season progresses forward, there really aren’t any terrible losses on the packers season now. The one you can argue is the raiders with mcdaniels being head coach. The rest of our losses have come from teams with winning records and the falcons who are currently leading their division at 5-6. Most losses have been 4 points or less as well. We also have the same number of losses as the Bills lol.
We are going to find out this week. I don’t feel like we’ve played many top 15 teams.
The other side of the “no bad losses” coin is that the Lions are our only good win.
And, if they played all those losses over again…they may even be favored in a couple
They were definitely beating themselves for the first half of the year.
Constant penalties and misplays, dropped INTS, etc. That Falcons game had 2 dropped INTS and we couldn’t stop their running game. Broncos should’ve been the easiest win since we were in FG range and false-started out of it. Even the Steelers game with that terrible backward pass call could’ve given us a better chance to win that one.
Lions, Vikings and Raiders were the games I thought were the worst, and even then we had some decent moments and chances in them (ie. end of Raiders game dropped passes).
Now it feels like the younger guys building chemistry and gaining experience is starting to pay off. Less dropped passes and penalties, better communication and route running. I’d even say MLF has improved as well with his play-calling and knowing his personnel better.
It’s honestly just fun at this point. If we miss the playoffs but look how we’ve looked, our future is bright with great potential. If we make the playoffs, it’s great experience and any win is just a bonus. We’re in a way better spot than a ton of other NFL teams.
We got thumped against the Lions and Vikings and we’ve already beaten one of those two teams in a rematch. Our point differential puts us solidly in the ‘average’ team bucket. Average is probably the best way to describe the team right now which is certainly better than things were looking ~4 weeks back.
