I’m at the point where the 9ers are the only team I’m scared of. Anything can happen any given Sunday, obviously. But the 9ers are the one team that I think can beat us even if we’re at our best. If we both play well, I feel like it’s 50/50. But I don’t know if we can play our best against them. We seem to have a mental block.
So curious about what everyone else’s thoughts are. Would you rather rematch them in the playoffs and give us a chance to really prove we’re the best and get revenge, or would you rather someone else knock them out before we would play them?
Avoid for as long as possible. We aren’t 42-10 worse than them, but they are the most dangerous team for us to play regardless.
I want to play them and beat them so the critics and naysayers can’t say you had the easy road.
They didn’t seem to care that Philly had the easy road, but we all know they hold us to a ridiculous standard and will say anything to discredit us.
Facts they will find any reason
“Don’t care. Won the trophy.” Should be any teams response. We can only play who we are scheduled to play. Not our fault.
Both lmfao
Same!
I can go either way, but mostly I don’t wish for teams in the playoffs. If we play them again, great. If not, great.
Fuck San Fran I wanna kick their ass and win a Super Bowl
I’d like revenge but considering how badly they’ve had our number for awhile now I’d much rather face the lions and eagles who I think we absolutely can beat than the niners. I think at this point they’re kinda in our heads where even if we know we can win we are playing not to lose instead which is reasonable because they’ve knocked us out of the playoffs 2 straight seasons then killed us this year.
Now I believe we’d definitely be closer the next time we play there’s no way we lose a blowout like that again to them BUT I still would rather face any other team because they just currently have our number. I’ll take making the super bowl or at least the NFC championship over getting revenge on the niners. If we did I’d be ecstatic but I just worry we’d lose another playoff game to them and idk if I can handle that for 3 straight years.
We gotta conquer our demons with them. I’d want revenge.
I want to avoid them. They look like a significantly tougher and more dominant team than the Eagles, who’ve merely been lucky.
And the thought of losing in the playoffs to the Niners for 3 years in a row is sickening.
If the Niners had Philly’s “luck”, they’d be undefeated with an average margin of victory of 30+ ppg.
Last years Philly team would also be unstoppable if they got as much ref help as they are getting this year. We know how good each team is. Niners should win by at least 10 points, maybe 14 to 17 if they play their A+ game. If Philly wins or its a really close game…either something went horribly wrong for San Francisco or the refs cheated like it was Mavs vs Heat in '06.
Boys have the same mental block that the Niners had against Jimmy’s Cowboys. Dak is Steve Young living in the shadow of past greatness. He needs to get the monkey off his back, beat SF and bring the Lombardi trophy back to Dallas.
We want the FN 9ers we have to beat everyone that is thrown at us ! Hell yes we want the FN 9ers !
Yeah I just want to make it to the NFCCG tbh. We probably do if we get the 1 seed… but our team had to die against the cardinals and we couldn’t squeak it out against the refs, I mean eagles.
Look at the Eagles playoff run last year. Yet they still made the Super Bowl and everyone strokes them for it. I want whatever path gets us there easier. Preferably a 1 seed which is not outside the realm yet. Still got Philly in a few weeks.
Would need Philly to lose to the Giants or Hawks at this point AND San Fran to lose another (but beat the Eagles) to get the one seed. Possible, sure, but not even close to likely.
I’m not scared of the 49ers I’d just rather not face them again. They’re offense is unpredictable they’re just too good.
For fucks sake, avoid at all cost. We are cursed against the niners
I would almost rather lose the wildcard and end all hope than lose to the niners in the divisional for the third straight year.
