Assuming the Jets make at least a couple upgrades do you trust this coaching staff and a 40 year old Rodgers to get us into contention? Honestly, I feel like this coaching staff has lost the respect of the players and I’m not sure they can get it back. The stench of losing is pretty strong after 3 disappointing seasons for Saleh and Hackett is even worse.
I just don’t think people realize how much the game changes with Rodgers — even an old diminished 26 TD season Rodgers.
-
we are probably 8-3 with the 2022 Rodgers
-
the oline will perform better because defense will play differently when there’s a legit pass threat
-
the run game will be better because defense will need to protect against a legit pass threat
-
the culture will be improved because the team won’t be in a death spiral with constant defense vs offense
This team just needs average, no. 16 in the league, run of the mill offense paired with its elite defense that plays more disciplined. I just don’t believe for a minute that an Aaron Rodgers led offense, even an old, diminished Aaron Rodgers, can’t just simply be league average.

Maybe for one of the wildcard spots. Not for the division.
Probably not, but we’ll find out if he can transcend
If they trade for Adams, sign or trade for 2 OL, and draft an OL, and pick up a legit backup then the Jets have a chance to contend, as long as they don’t lose anyone from the defense.
they can lose huff and contend
No.
If you have access, go watch their games from 2021. Pretty much same offense, but everything worked because of his excellence. They came out throwing a lot, then start mixing run games. If we can replicate that offense, we’ll win a lot of games.
Yeah, just don’t fuck up The off-season again
The offensive line is garbage. Tank
Nope, didn’t think so this year either
I’m just glad I didn’t get a rodgers jersey. He’s going to be bottom tier when he comes back. 40 years old coming off a season ending injury, playing behind the worst O line. Our fan base is an embarrassment. Fuck
This season has broke my will to ever be hopeful for anything pertaining to this team ever again
No
Assuming a healthy Rodgers, yeah they should be contenders. A HOF QB like AR on the field is way more valuable and can make up for a lot of coaching flaws. The defense might look a bit different considering Huff, Whitehead, Q Jefferson, & Al Woods, S Thomas are FAs but it should still be a top 10, maybe 5 unit.
Offensive Line?
AVT returning & AR pre-snap reads could make that look unit decent.
if we completely revamp the o line and bring in another receiver, yeah why not
