I was pretty disappointed with Starfield, I had high expectations for it, but I think my most disappointing gane is P5 Tactica. I love Persona 5, I love tactics games, I don’t like Tactica at all. I didn’t think the Persona 5 well would ever run dry for me, but apparently it has.

As a HP nut and RPG lover, Hogwarts legacy let me down big time. It wasn’t terrible but it could have been legendary. Hopefully the next one improves on it.

Starfield was so boring. Fuck this metal object and watch it float.

    No thanks

Odd choice I feel but Modern Warfare 3

There are tons of games that I was somewhat hoping to see turn out well, but I had very low expectations for Starfield, Redfall, etc.

I also expected less than nothing from Modern Warfare 3, however I was hoping for at least a big dumb, over the top action movie in game form. What I got was a step back from the previous games in every way, baffling character decisions, subpar acting from actors who frankly knocked it out of the park in previous games, and bland, uninteresting enemy encounters on empty levels.

Diablo 4 for sure. I can’t say I wasn’t enjoying it but definitely a lot of meh in there. I rarely buy anything day 1 anymore and this is one of those times I wish I’d waited.

I hate to beat a dead horse but for me it was definitely starfield. Most of the other bad games this year I didn’t have any Interest in or didn’t expect to be good but part of me genuinely felt like starfield might be good.

Then I played it, stuck with it until it got “good” and still didn’t enjoy it that much.

Unfortunately starfield for me. I still played it for 15+ days of play time. I’d be lying if I didn’t say I enjoyed my time. However due to so many bugs and shallow mechanics I haven’t played it in almost a month if not more.

I enjoyed ship building and basically everything else that I did was secondary, just to afford it. Ship combat felt shallow and so building was really my only focus. The exploration, crafting, outpost building and in some ways even ship building all felt half cooked. Crafting and outpost building are the worst offenders and are easily compared to fallout 4, both have essentially the exact same system, but fallout 4 has so many more options in both regards(why do melee weapons have no mods or upgrades in starfield?). Weapons and armor in starfield are also severely limited in number compared to other bsg titles and even the uniques are just reskins of anything else that’s available.

I did somewhat enjoy exploring planets and the random points of interest initially, but seeing the same military outpost 5 times on the same planet was annoying. Or having to go through the same exact cryolab 10+ times for story related missions felt like a chore along with the temples. While there were a variety of different poi, a military outpost, research station or civilian outpost on one planet, was mostly of not exactly the same on multiple other planets.

I really wanted starfield to be the next bsg title I could sink countless hours into, but it feels lacking in so many areas its difficult to want to keep going back to it over other more engaging games. I know mods for the game will help make it better over time, but Bethesda needs to stop leaving it up to the community to make their games better. Skyrim and Fallout 4 both hold up to this day without mods, but starfield doesn’t feel the same way at all only two months after its release.

Starfield by far. Completely ruined Bethesda for me to the point I likely won’t buy anything from them in the future.

Diablo 4 was also bad but Blizzard was already on my s**t list so I gave it a pass.

It wasn’t a bad game it was just painfully mid but Assassins Creed Mirage. I was hyped for a return to form of the old Assassins Creed but the game bored me to tears and was one of the most forgettable games I’ve ever played
