What do you think the Pistons (Gores) do this season as a last ditch effort to show they have interest in the team?
My guess is if Golden State isn’t contending by the trade deadline, they go after Klay Thompson or Draymond. Easy way to sell tickets to the casual fan, especially bringing Draymond home and act like his attitude will bring a tough vet leadership the team needs. Would it be a horrible idea? Absolutely. Would it sell a bunch of jerseys? Probably.
Trade Cade
Cade took too many shots because he has to
I doubt the situation here will help him develops
Trade him for a pick and some veteran
Good for both Cade and the team
Every single other guy in the 2021 class that has star potential all had mediocre to bad sophomore years, hell even now some aren’t even breaking out. Especially with cade being on the worst franchise in sports in recent history and especially now? Give him some time. I’ve said this a lot and I’ll say it again. Look at him his rookie and even some games in his sophomore year, he looked a LOT more mobile, closed out games for us, played off ball , used skills with both hands, and had confidence. Something is wrong
Draymond would be a short term kick in the pants, but his contract is horrible. I could see Gores doing it as a MSU guy. Klay would be a pouty bitch if he got traded to the Pistons and I could lowkey see him up and retiring on the spot if it happened.
I think there’s gonna be a mammoth package of young assets and draft picks sent to Toronto for siakam at the deadline
tbh if no panic move was made after the WASH game and the recent article from JE3 about no wavering from the FO makes me think they dont do shit and stick to whatever (horrible) plan they had all along.
Trades take two sides. Just because our season is in hell doesn’t mean other potential aren’t still seeing what they have on their teams. Earliest I expect any deal done is after the Dec deadline when newly signed players can be traded since it just opens up more possibilities
