My last post asked “Why do you still play Minecraft?”, now I’ve got another question.

Do you still like Vanilla Minecraft? Is it not worth the bother anymore due to Mojangs incredibly bureaucratic way of game development?

It’s decent. I prefer modded ATM tho.

I think vanilla is best for the multiplayer experience since the devs do the balancing for you, meanwhile mods can get super broken super quickly if you don’t fine tune it. But I’d still by far prefer modded for singleplayer

I play almost exclusively vanilla. Only mods I ever use are minimal, either for performance or for QoL features.

I haven’t played a lot recently, and the little I do play is on really old versions because the new stuff doesn’t feel like vanilla anymore.

The new updates feel like what I would expect from popular mods back when I played the most, so it just doesn’t feel right.

So I’m probably on the opposite end of not liking vanilla anymore.
