it’s legit crazy how many times i see fresh accounts, and 70% of the time these players behind these “low level” accounts are just perma griefers. either they are just trolling, or they managed to get elo inflated so hard that now they just run it down every single game going 10+deaths because they don’t belong in x Elo. And today i played 7games in master, and in 3 of these games there was one guy intentionally ruining the game, every single player was a Low level account and they build the dumbest items possible for their champions they play. 1 guy goes janna statik shiv toplane, the other one went evenshroud fiddlesticks support, another one went NIGHT HARVESTER on Janna support. Like it’s unreal i swear. I saw a lv 37 nunu just perma snowballing it down mid going 15deaths today, these players are not real humans and i swear Solo q quality is suffering so much from these low level account invaders across all Elos

They removed smurf queue at the start of the season
For those of you who don’t understand why fresh accounts start with inflated mmr, I’m not justifying the reasoning but Riot needs a way to sandbag bad players spamming new accounts to feel better and actual Smurfs. A low elo player will destroy the mmr of the account pretty quickly, even with inflated LP they’ll get stuck somewhere in gold or plat, only “ruining” 5-10 games. On the other side, if youre snuffing through a new account youll win most of your games, pushing through plat pretty quickly and be in emerald with diamond+ mmr, and then youll again only “ruin” 5-10 games but on the winning team. Instead of starting Smurfs off in bronze and having them ruin like 40-50 games grinding through silver gold plat and emerald. That way also people who are gold-plat-emerald cant do the same thing and ruin 50-100 games in Lower elo as it’ll take them longer.
It’s a semi-workaround to make sure fewer games are ruined and everyone can get back to their deserved rank fairly quickly.
Yeah, they really need to make it so that you have to associate a phone number with the account or something
Why not separate SoloQ-Games for Level 1-99 Accounts from those of Level 100 and above? Would cleanse most of the smurf probs
To be completely honest, i play in em 3, theres atleast 1-4 fresh accounts every game, but 90 percent of the time i dont notice any skill disparity, nor do they troll. Feel this narrative is abit perpetuated by people who are hardstuck but are looking for something else to blame.

Riot literally dont seem to care, I fail to see how it is so hard for a system to detect these coop vs ai 24/7 levelled bots that change name after suddenly stopping for months after exactly lvl 30.
But truth seems to be half the people on here buy these accounts and downvote these posts while gaslighting you that its just in your head and little timmy is just a god gifted lee sin insec master on his first ever pvp game. Or the toxic griefing one is just an illusion while picking apart your opgg to validify themselves over that one game you played real bad
Riot: caters to reddit community and adds countless punishments for typing letters, daring to ping SS on your own enemy laner, and god forbid: misspelling words! Basically giving you all the reasons to never stick to a main account due to exaggerated punishments.

Remove normal MMR affecting placement starting point. A new account should have iron 4 MMR that gets inflated with wins.
