I’ve seen horrible reviews of it. No wonder they have to discount heavily.

Article says it’s better than RX lease deals which would be its most direct Lexus ICE competitor, so if it takes some sales away from that among diehard Lexus fans, then this is great. For a Lexus owner looking for a daily driver, this does seem like a pretty good way to convert from what might have otherwise been RX drivers.

I just leased an Ionic 6 sel RWD - 320 mile range, MSRP 49k - for 2k down and $402/month (including tax). 3 years, 10,000 miles a year, all maintenance included. And an L2 charger with a $600 installation credit. I’m stunned I got a highly rated EV (Car & Driver EV of the year 2023) with every bell & whistle you could ask for, for essentially the price of a Honda Civic. Fantastic car.

Apparently EV sales are much lower than expected, so the 2024s are out and they’ve still got a bunch of 2023s sitting on the lot. I expect to save $200 or more a month, as I’m in California & we’re being price gouged with $6-7/gallon gas.

For those that own a home and have a charger, this vehicle is excellent. One of the best actually. If range is your concern, not many people drive over 100 miles per day on a consistent basis therefore Charge it every night and you essentially have unlimited range. It drives smoother than any other EV under 70k. I cannot speak about reliability because it’s such a new vehicle. But it holds the Lexus badge for what it’s worth; Lexus is known to be conservative in their design. The left a 10% battery buffer that’s not accessible hence the low epa range to increase battery longevity. I changed from a Model Y to the RZ and never looked back. It is a much more premium vehicle and well worth the money. Better suspension. Better seats. More comfortable. Don’t listen to idiotic YouTube car reviewers. Test drive it and decide for yourself.

It has terrible range and the interior is ugly. Not worth it. My EV6 is beautiful in comparison.
