I was thinking of:

  • Big Man insurance for KP and Horford

  • A big wing who can play the 4 who can space the floor (An Otto Porter and Jae Crowder type)

  • Another backup PG who can play playoff minutes when PP is unplayable. Remember Sam Cassell during the 08 run?

Do you guys think we can get these types pf players?

Don’t think we need either of the second 2 you mentioned

I definitely think we could benefit from a third big, don’t really trust kornet if one of our bigs goes down

We need scoring off the bench, at any position, just a bench shot creator

I’m much more worried about having a ball handler off the bench than another big. I’m not sold on Pritchard and never have been and it’s hard to evaluate him when he really only does well during Geno Time.

Well that’s exactly what I said, someone off the bench that can do something with the ball in their hands

Hayward is 99.99% Miami or Indiana bound if he does get bought out.

Which sucks because he could be a serious swing factor for a team like Miami.

I think a backup big man would be the priority. Someone with a high motor. When we were playing suffocating defense on Brooklyn last night, what stood out to me was the defensive pressure and guys running around, very similar to what we see Golden State and Miami do at making offenses panic.

Kornet just isn’t that kind of player, and I’d like to see us target a big man who’s capable of being part of that. Porzingis is good in his own right and Horford is solid, but I’d like to have a big that can fly around on defense to replace a little of what we lost in Rob

Brad said it himself media day before the season, we’re looking for guys with a high motor and was the whole point of the Gabriel signing before he was cut.

Before getting anyone in the trade deadline I want to see Oshae, Lamar and Queta more on the court even if they fuck up some leads here and there because they just fall into that category of big man/big wing. I am still hopeful that at least one of them will hold for us. In that case even if we still have a need for another player, it will be more specific what to focus on and more clear who to give up for that.
