I’ve been one of the harsher critics of the guy, but it’s become very apparent to me that Jamo isn’t this “lazy” guy on the roster that refuses to put the work in. Seeing him play unselfish, passionate football has really changed my mind about him. He caught a few really good passes yesterday, he made a critical block (probably more than one). I think a lot of us should lay off of him. He’s a baller, just needs to put it all together.
Like I’ve kept saying: it feels like he’s there for like one drive in every game. Idk why he’s so absent from the rest of the game outside of a singular random drive.
I have tons of criticisms when it comes to his play, but that is as far as I’ll go. I see the effort and I see that he wants to be a team player and I hope it all starts clicking for the kid.
At the same time, I do think that Jamo defenders go a bit far. I mean it’s fine to argue that he can still turn it around but there is no argument to be made that he is actually playing well cause he isn’t and it isn’t Goffs fault, it’s Jamo’s fault. There is nothing wrong with saying that
I have faith that he’ll find his place in the NFL. I don’t think he’ll ever be a top WR but he can be a top big play threat that’ll make everyone else on offense better. He’s value added to the team.
It’s funny actually, if you look back to the moment he was drafted we had idiots bitching about how he doesn’t wanna be here & he looks like a diva.
He’s been the complete opposite and gives his all for us. Now they’ve moved to “he can’t can’t catch” it’s only a matter of time he shuts everyone up. He has the potential to be a truly special Wr & I think yesterdays game was his best game yet & that was the 8th game of his career….
Should have had a TD yesterday. Shit ass call by the refs…
I’m not saying the guy is undedicated, but you saw him make one block and decided he was dedicated.
You really gotta ignore most of my post to come to that conclusion
As fans we tend to think all or nothing on everything. But man, take his draft position out of the equation, and he’s been far from a bum. He’s in a weird spot, where his potential to be amazing means we should have patience with him. But the fact that we’re a winning team means we’re not going to trot him out there just to trot him out there. But he’s getting some reps, and producing positive results, even if it’s not always the big splashy plays we want. But there’s a chance that without his downfield block yesterday, we don’t win that game.
The one catch he had on the comeback route was tough as hell. That td that was called back was bs but his acceleration on that play was insane
