Trust the D, but they have to take the chains off the offence a little bit.

CFL Grey cup Saskatchewan vibe- they had too many men and allowed a similar game winning kick.

Up until recently, these are the types of ugly games they would lose 10 times out of 10. I’m not ready to crown them as “good” yet, but they’re not blowing the close ones. Good teams find ways to win.

2 good defenses make for boring ugly games. I’ll take an ugly win over a loss any day.

Vance Joseph is owed a huge apology by all of broncos country, myself included. He has turned that defense the absolute fuck around in a very short amount of time. This team seems to have finally found a balance, the chemistry is at an all time high right now and I’m here for it. It wasn’t a perfect win but god damn it it was a win that was needed and it just gave me so much hope for the future

Ugly or pretty, the only thing that counts are the W’s and I’m not fully on board the ride…but this was one step closer to picking out a mode of transportation

I understand most of you weren’t born at the time but way back when I was a young person Denver made it to the first Superbowl they ever played in back in 1977.

The way that team played reminds me a lot of this current Broncos team.

The 77 team played outstanding defense and the boring as hell to watch offense scored few points but more importantly avoided turning the ball over. Denver’s QB was Craig Morton and if you think Russ holds on to the ball for too long, you should have seen that dude play. But just like what is happening now on offense they would frustrate the hell out of you but in the end that Craig Morton team was able to win more often than not.

Not trying to claim that old formula works in the modern game but if you would have told me at the start of this season or even 4 weeks ago Denver was going to defeat both KC and then win in Buffalo in consecutive games, I would have laughed in your face

If it is going to be ugly, better to be on the winning end than the losing

The chains are on the offense because Russ can’t run Payton’s offense he has continually simplified the scheme over the season for Russ to the point where we are a dink and dunk offense but ey Russ isn’t turning the ball over so that’s nice
