I don’t think he deserves to be guaranteed the keys by any stretch, but this team is not a rookie 1st round pick QB away from anything. Williams and Maye, who are not guaranteed to be better than Howell, would struggle on this team too

If it wasn’t for Stroud, Howell would be more respected by the few fans in here that want him on the chopping block. They see CJ flourishing and want to abandon all hope because they’re used to being impatient and insufferable

I agree that injury is probably making it harder on him this season, but you can’t pin all fault on EB. I’m by no stretch an EB fan or believer and I’m all for letting him go in the FO sweep, but Terry needs to stop dropping catchable passes and he needs to stop getting locked up by CB3s

4. Brock Bowers, TE Georgia

5. Kool-Aid McKinstry, CB Alabama

Carolina (1), Arizona (2), New England (2), Chicago (3), New York (3), Tennessee (3) are all currently picking before us. Panthers almost have no shot of losing that 1st pick. Kyler might sneak a few wins in for Arizona. Bill is fighting for his job with a QB that is having an identity crisis so they might stay put especially with their schedule. We gave the Giants 66% of their wins and they are a god awful football team. Bears and Titans will get another couple wins I’m sure

Atlanta and Tampa Bay with a lower SOS have 4 wins but only 6 losses compared to our 8. If they lose out, they pick ahead of us. That division is up for grabs with the Saints though so I don’t see it happening

Realistically we’re picking 5th if we lose out. We could absolutely be picking 1st if things played out perfectly but that’ll never happen unfortunately

Kam Curl is a below average safety

I don’t want anyone on our coaching staff to be here next season. EB on those 4th and 1s showed he really does not know what he’s doing. He is riding off the coattails of Reid’s success with a generational QB. I’m fine with them leading us in this tank but we deserve competent coaching

Jamin was hands down the best player on our defense yesterday. You only heard his name because he made plays, not because he was getting exposed like Mayo. Give our guy some respect. Aside from a few weeks this season where everyone on our D has struggled, he has been consistently good and reliable
