IMO people are upset at Tepper primarily because he’s impulsive and meddles in football affairs that he’s shown not to have deep knowledge about. And he’s put his foot in his mouth more than once in making public comments and taken credit for things like “bringing live music to Charlotte” – as if there wasn’t any live music here before.

Jerry Jones meddles plenty in football affairs, but he’s also got a moderately successful franchise now and he’s won three super bowls as an owner earlier.

What the hell. Why not. Surely, Greg can coach a team to more than one win.

Bryce Young vs CJ Stroud vs any other QB isn’t the biggest issue.

It’s how much they gave up to get Bryce knowing full well they wouldn’t be a top playoff contender immediately with a rookie QB. So, now they’re 1-10 and without a first round pick.

They also traded away the two best offensive weapons – CMC and DJ Moore – and have an injury plagued O line that isn’t that good anyway. So, Bryce (and any QB they would’ve drafted) was stuck with Adam Thielen and not much else to speak of. And none of the picks they have this year are going to produce a CMC or DJ Moore quickly.

Firing Reich doesn’t solve the problem.

He’s the owner of Charlotte FC, too. So, he’d have to move both. Seems highly unlikely at the moment and I don’t know that this is even a thing people talk a lot about. People talk much more about stadium renovations/replacement

I think that you have to give Reich at least one more year so the team can evaluate what went wrong this season and go out in the off season and target specific pieces to improve. They can tweak the offensive scheme to work for Bryce, too.

If Panthers show no major improvements and don’t come close to playoffs, next year, then I think you fire him. Putting Bryce in a system of continually changing coaches isn’t good. And who’s to say the next person will be any good?

Panthers need to spend big on the O line and receivers in the off season.

I don’t think anyone with a solid brain is arguing that receivers are THE problem. It’s a combination of things, and the O line is at the top of the list

I think that Darnold and Mayfield have better potential than they showed in Carolina, but none of the options after Cam really inspire much confidence about long term success.

Would be unusual to fire a coach after just one year, but this season has been so pitiful that I just might do it. The team needs a new GM and head coach, and none of this BS about having a bunch of senior advisor coaches who are past their prime.

Convince Luuuuke to join the staff as an assistant or top linebacker coach or something. Try to keep McCown as QB coach so Bryce has some continuity. See if the Lions would trade for Jameson Williams to give Bryce a familiar person to throw to.

Don’t trade Brian Burns. Spend some of Tepper’s billions in free agency to bring in some talent on the O line. Make it the highest paid o line ever for all I care.

In the draft this year, focus on high floor guys who can compliment Bryce and take a flyer on a high upside corner.

Hire a head coach who can create a system that works well with Bryce’s skill set. As much as I like Wilks, it’s gotta be an offensive guy. Maybe Eric Bienemy??

The offensive line is the biggest single problem on this team – between penalties and not blocking.
