I remember being 16 and a 15yo girl I knew was trying to hook up her friend w/ a 20yo man we both knew: I advised the 20yo to stay away from that friend, but he seemed to ignore me. I remember being 17 and being pursued by a grown man: I told him I was 14, attended a local middle school, and that my father collected guns for fun; he still wouldn’t leave me alone. I have many more stories of men who willingly pursued teens or didn’t bother to do due diligence to make sure the girl they were trying to talk to was of age.

Giddey would be better running the bench, and Joe would be great as a stop-gap starter – Shai and Joe’s on-court chemistry is strong. But big picture, we need a big, 240+lb 4 as a starter, who could also give us depth at the 5.
