I know people will roll there eyes at this but I think Jim Harbough would be a great coach hire. Yeah he’s weird and rubs people the wrong way, but super competitive and successful. The problem is, he likely wants stupid money, like 15-20M a year. Harris would probably rather give Bieniemy a shot at 4-5M per.
One of the most talented arms in NFL history, crazy quick release, could throw it 50 yards with the flick of the wrist on a rope. Timing was an issue with that fast of a delivery it’s hard to hit people in stride, especially on go routes. Could squeeze into crazy tight windows if the receiver sat down though. Bad mental game, didn’t play well when behind or under pressure. Poor attitude, believed in his own hype, narcissistic, finger pointer. Overall bellow average player.

IMO Terry has already lost a step. He’s barely a #1 anymore. The rest of the corp are garbage, practice squad players on any contender.
In all fairness, he knew the secondary sucked, got the front office to draft CB 1 and 2. Turns out we whiffed on those picks.
You see what he wanted to do, pressure with 4, with 2 of the top DT’s and 2 talented pass rushers in contract years. But that didn’t work, so hes onto a new plan of bringing pressure from the secondary and putting corners on an island. With LBs that can’t work in space this has been bad as well.
It’s kinda pick your poison at this point, we don’t have the talent to do either one now.
This isn’t a very good team, they are actually over performing IMO due to the QB progressing pretty well. Without Sam, this is a bottom 4 team.

Esp since Chase doesn’t do that, he flies upfield so the QB has a running/scrambling lane.
