JunkerQueen is fun and one of my favorite tanks but landing carnage, knife pulls, and melee are crucial to her kit to maintain self healing with her self passive.

Hog would probably be the closest since he does have his own resource heal, but he can take a lot of damage cuz he’s bigger. DVa is a good dive tank.

I think JQ is the only one with her unique style and has to continuously do wound damage/be aggressive.

  • If he’s not grouped up, as a tank I’ll create space or damage to allow my team to get pics. I’ll usually face the hog while allowing my team to safely take out dps or support. If he IS grouped up, like on linear maps like Paraíso or Kings Row, then high damage outputs.

DVa can matrix anyone he pulls in. Sigma I can angle my shield for my team and I’ll save keneitc grasp for myself and rock him when he tries to heal. Zarya, save one bubble for a teammate while you’re playing passive until you’re able to get aggressive. Orisa is also great. I’ve gone Junker Queen if my team is able to hold their own.

As support, I’ll go Zen or Baptiste for high damage. Ana for anti or sleep. I dislike lifesaver but his life grip for saving someone who gets pulled. His thorns can do some damage too.

    Dps. Reaper. Sojourn. Bastion. Soldier.

  • I feel like anyony who says “Now that roadhog has his one shot” doesn’t remember or has played against him when he ACTUALLY one shot squishies.

His one shot was a legit hook and shot. It didn’t even need to be a headshot for him to elim a hero other than tank

He now has to hook, 2 shot or shot+mele and/or drag someone into his pin. It’s not a one shot by far.

Hanzo/Widow are the ONLY true one shots in the game.

I’ve watch a lot of tank videos on YouTube to help me get a better understanding of the basics and play styles of each tank.

Also, Overwatch wiki helps the more minute details. For example, for the longest time I didn’t know Doomfist gained 35 overhealth per enemy when he uses an ability and so I failed miserably with him as a dive until I understood his sustainability

Just spam arrows down a choke or line a sight. You don’t even need to really aim for any particular person. They always end up walking or jumping into your shot to make it easy for you.

Someone gets to close, just storm arrow them until they die.

    Rinse and repeat.

I wouldn’t say he takes no skill, but sometimes I question the shots I get killed by. Shoot down a choke or like of sight. Try to be more calculated when they are up close. Use your dash or wall climb for positioning or escaping.

  • I usually use QP to warm up or to just play around with new characters. I main support but I play tank and dps in qp to learn/have fun without the stress of competitive.

I assume the same is most of QP players. That they are testing out new/off characters to get better or don’t want to deal with the seriousness of comp. Comp games can go LONG. Being in platinum/Diamond lobbies, sometimes these matches can be 30+ minutes of PURE CHAOS.

  • You’ve played two rank games and are already complaining like you’re the main character? Once you get above gold, it’s rare you see a competitive game with Morias and there’s a reason for that. Her only two pros is that she her mobility/survivability and raw healing/damage. She’s also usually a new supports first pick because she doesn’t require any skill nor aim to use.

I main Bap, Ana, and Kiriko and I can also so damage and heal without having to frontline like Moria has to. These supports can also do damage and heal without having to deal damage to recharge their utility. Also, the utility of these supports are much more useful than an orb no one can bounce correctly. You don’t have to pocket your team, but you do have to support them. Tank charges in? Throw an immortality field or suzu to keep them alive.

If you have to frontline to get heals recharged or wait until you’re able to get off some damage before healing a teammate and they die while waiting, that’s the problem. Also, this has said since the beginning of time, STATS DON’T MATTER. Morias like to frontline because they don’t have to aim and have a get out of jail free card so they think they’re useful when they’re in reality ignoring their team.

In Platinum/Diamond, if there is a chance to take out a support, it’s a no brainer. If a Moria is front-lining or flanking our backline, we know she’s trying to recharge and supports or dps will team up to take her out ASAP. Being out of position constantly to recharge your heals makes you such an easy target and as a Bap/Kiriko/Ana I can take you out quicker because Morias damage output is slow. Every Moria has the same brainless zigzag movement since they don’t have to aim and I can two/three tap them quick. Also, we can make a Moria useless just as easy by dodging orbs or making sure she can’t get deal damage fast enough.

  • I actually started as a RELIGIOUS Moria main and now, I hate her/going against her.

She has no utility. She has high raw healing output, but I can heal just as much with Bap, Kiriko, and Ana. She has SELF survivability, but Bap, Kiriko, and Ana can ALSO keep their teammates alive, not just themselves. Morias fade only saves her. Immortality Field, Suzu, and Sleep can save an entire team. For example, I’ve slept a reaper ult. Moria just fades away and let’s her team die.

Also, she’s toxic. Moria just holds out her damage arm indefinitely and zig zags. She doesn’t have to reload at all or there isn’t a pause between damage. When she goes 1v1 she has a healing orb to heal herself while fighting or a damage orb to help finish you off and if she can’t kill you off, her fade/jump can get her out fast and far. Which makes me mad because sometimes I have to use my burst heal/immo field/Suzu/nade to keep me alive to battle her and she just fades away after a slight bit of damage and I’ve just wasted my utility meant for the team.

I’ve realized that Moiras numbers don’t mean anything because she has two forms of damage output, arm and orb. So Moria players they think their elimination numbers mean something and are toxic about it. Also in higher ranks, people will hate you for going Moria. She doesn’t provide anything FOR the team and usually go DPS, regardless of how good their healing is.

Do I still go Moira, yes in rare situations, but I’ll always go Kiriko, Bap, or Ana first.
