  • Double elimination is unfair as the finalist has no second chance but ever other team has. Futher, the world best team can lose and win against the second best team which would be weird. If its more competitive for you praise MSI more. (Oh while typing I see you already mentioned that lol)

We deserved a boring final after last year lol beginning with giga stomp into struggling and many baron miracle steals. More than deserved it is a present of T1 giving it their all with no underestimation except Faker feeling bored, but got it back with sick Akali plays.

So format wise I am fine with both how you include an advantage as long as T1 wins it lol. Someone said the teasers are so hype and good because of single elimination and weeks between, so mabye worth it.

I looked so many T1 games and they mostly won blue side with getting Jinx in those big game ( even if it was memed, they were dominant on blue side lol). Them having such a good redside draft was such a nice thing to see.

It is kinda fearsome thinking about facing JDG and Gen G again, so I like it like that lol. Ty BLG for stopping another Gen G vs. T1 final and epic 4 LPL story.

  • Oner did so many insane Lee plays. Its just meant to underline how clutch and astonishing that pixel perfect Ashe arrow flash steal with Rell was. Throughout the video he often praises Zeus, Oner, Faker and Keria so there is just much love and teasing a bit as many clutch play were created by him ( Flashin Ashe R, holding off Ahri with Draven dmg)

He won World cup with him so lets assume the least mean but funny kinky way.

  • I rewatched 2017 Worlds final and Faker did make a mistake not reacting with flash and having a flash Ruler next fight. However, that cold have been a crucial game winning fight.

In the moment Ruler flashed, Bang should have not kited and used E there (He seemed to be scared of Cho Q). Lulu was not even in range and his aa does more dmg than the animation for the full stacked E took and that before the shields are active. He would have killed Ruler super fast or at least in this fight for sure.

If he had killed Ruler there, everything would be fine for the moment. However, they would have need to win another fight and whole 2 games, so who knows man. Still, Faker felt so defeated as they lost 3-0 and he seemed to be the one to lose the game. I will cut that play from his mistakes man. That had even more potential than an open fight face on face as he took Cho Q, Ruler Flash Ult, Sej Ult and AA aggro all while Sej, Cho, Lulu, Malz were behind, which should be focused on enemy adc instead of a Karma supp.

Harder to defend is his Cassio Flash after the baron steal. Ruler zoned Bang, rooted Huni with one e there. He kited a weird way too because he saw Kennen, so the fight was doomed anyway. Bang’s flash in the Dragon pit is another meme.

Maybe they should have respected Ruler’s late and gone full early game banning Kalista, Xayah and Janna, Lulu or Malz. Lee Sin + Faker Leblanc are always too broken. LeBlanc is bad into Malzahar but that would mean only one loss by surprise or they find a way too counter.

  • 2020 Worlds winner coached by Daeny

2021 Worlds runner up was once coached by Daeny and T1 semi coached by Daeny

2022 Worlds runner up T1 once coached by Daeny

2023 Worlds winner once coached by Daeny and runner up coached by Daeny.

I think only Kkoma beats those results lol. I know he is stressing the players often brute forcing his way of play, but maybe after the players reflect those, the players and team seem to perform pretty well. Beryl even won, final, won, unqualified. Impressive too.

Even with luck, achieving runner-ups is so impressive and made the players so happy that you found a weird time to call out Daeny’s impact. They are kinda eternal as they are in Faker’s redemption arc.

I am a bit kidding here, but it made fun seeing the pattern here lol.

  • Dunno why it happened to be like that lol. In soccer/football it is understandable as it is only every 4 years, more tough qualifying and not changing rules that much.

    Worlds is every year.

Ok I know 2 reasons while typing. Teams are newly formed and meta is shifted eith patch notes lol.

Kinda sad for MSI winners though. I love it being every year so more people can have a win and be happy, more to watch and it still holds its worth.

  • Sad that Bengi left us. The right hand of Faker we love for supporting him trough all his world trophies. Even though he is supporting us from a distance now, the knowledge and atmosphere he gave Oner and the rest is remaining meaningful.

Without Bengi in the first place it could have happened that they change roaster and last year due to worse results or other things causing a butterfly effect.

Maybe he saw that Tom is doing the job in a good manner making him feel more free to leave when it got too much of a burdenand responsibility for him. I think that caused Kkoma coming back. As T1 won worlds they are less pressured and he does not feel to guilty for 2017 Draft and decisions anymore as they redeemed themselves. The expectations of T1 are high and remain high though.

The issue is that T1 always has so high skilled Players that the coaches feel responsible when they lose important titles. It is a tough role to be in with high expactions. It seems to hit the friendliest and compassioned ones the most. Coach Kim and Daeny dont seem to mind. Despite knowledge they both created the most unfun and stressing atmosphere.

Daeny is happy how T1 in sync with Faker so much in a interview making me wonder why he did not try Oner Faker earlier as both top and both bot were pretty awesome. Clozer a downgrade though, but Faker seemed to have equipment issues according to him (I believe him though. Maybe some games it was like that at least). Coach Kim played Clozer on less important games though being still being weird stopping synergy being build. Who dont know how much scim time Clozer took too. Still, as we see Faker getting an injury. Maybe they did the right thing benching Faker some time and we were just unlucky in important matches and some meta shifts coupled with not optimal drafts lol.

My whole perspective and salt about the past and everything change by this year. We won worlds with an amazing story. I was again proven right in many aspects in the past. Faker won asia games giving him so much freedom to decide for its future and gaining 2 years to play back.

Imagine more World wins and maybe seeing a Faker tearing up of happiness seeing results as his past self being way above everyone. The plays, draft priority and time without Faker all show how important he is to those high achievment as having a silver road if you swap LCK Spring 2022 with LCK Spring 2023 :^)
