The sad truth is that a lot of fans calling for McD are just simple morons, and there’s no better explanation for it.
“Unlucky” is sorta being used as a catch-all term here for “all other attributable causes (besides Allen himself)”. iow each individual cause could be anything from receiver just dropping it to an unlucky 50/50 bouncing out of the receiver’s hands and into the defenders.
Regardless, Allen’s true turnover rate is much lower.
He’s not a “turnover machine” you’re just being willfully ignorant of observable attributable causes to turnovers.
