This is a good bounce back from the last game where his efficiency wasn’t ideal

Maybe. But not on a Dillon brooks level where the Cavs become such a hated team.
It’s a shame CPJ didn’t get to play today. Wanted to him to showcase himself more.
Is Donovan Mitchell hurt or is it just a cold streak? I think this game should be a sign for him to start adjusting to motion offense again. I’m happy though that garland went hot today after he got hurt last game. Looks like it wasn’t a serious injury.
It’s a scheme issue right now. They can beat a lot of teams when the offense is flowing and in motion. When it resorts to hero isos (no offense Spida), it won’t beat any playoff team. Like I know Donovan Mitchell is a great scorer, it just cools off everyone else.
I think it’s cos regardless if they tie against the Cavs record, they beat the Cavs so they get the tiebreaker.
For the Cavs to make the tournament, they have to win against the hawks by a large margin (for the point differential advantage), Miami loses at least one game and have a lower point differential, and whoever is second place in group C to also have a low differential (in case they also go 3-1)
It’s a shame that he’s short too so he won’t be able to start with garland, but damn he’s a dawg.

Injured players don’t have much value. You do know that right?
My bad I got that part backwards
As happy as i am for the wins, he still needs to get better with schemes when Donovan Mitchell is in the game. It’s like how the browns before. When OBJ was healthy, baker always threw to him and the team looks bad since it became predictable. When he was out, he spread the touches more and they looked better. Consistency and not over relying on the main star to carry is the key for the JB hate to die down, especially when there are capable weapons in the roster.
It’s been a rough start for garland. Turnovers, low amount of assists, his three point percentage, injuries. But I believe by January he’ll be back to his usual selfm
Yeah I love that.
He has a great case atm. Not sure who the other contenders are (I think Reaves), but caris can really win it if he continues this hot start throughout the season
After dismantling the warriors twice, I expected a competitive game against Sacramento. Welp, I was wrong. Damn they still need to improve
I mean it’s Faker sooooooo
Jokes aside, he’s still got the mechanics and knowledge to survive the laning phase. As long as he doesn’t get countered by picks like Maokai, they’ve got a shot. Also to reiterate, his champion pool is an ocean tbh. Hell, I’d be so happy if LeBlanc shows up at all (even as a hover)
Yeah I mean that usually happens when a very talented player gets chances to be the number one option. I think the issue rn with Mobley’s development is that I think he’s focusing on the wrong moves. He’s working on posting up when he should probably keep continuing his face up game. I know he’s been working on extending his range so I didn’t mention it. He shouldn’t be posting up true centers that have the weight/strength advantage. He should try to outspeed them instead of posting them up. I do agree that the team lacks good playmakers outside of garland and Mitchell (to an extent I still think he’s more scoring coded than Garland). LeVert shows some playmaking at times but not consistently enough imo.
That’s my biggest fear for Mobley. That he’ll just not improve from where he is. He’s gotta have a better offensive bag, but gaining weight/strength will help a lot
Yeah. So even though I want Mitchell to stay, maybe him leaving could unlock mobley’s offense. Also maybe LeVert leaving could start that process sooner. Cos the priority on offense seems to be Mitchell then garland then LeVert/strus.
On the bright side, Mobley dropped 20. Good sign for me.
