It’s a scheme issue right now. They can beat a lot of teams when the offense is flowing and in motion. When it resorts to hero isos (no offense Spida), it won’t beat any playoff team. Like I know Donovan Mitchell is a great scorer, it just cools off everyone else.

  • I think it’s cos regardless if they tie against the Cavs record, they beat the Cavs so they get the tiebreaker.

For the Cavs to make the tournament, they have to win against the hawks by a large margin (for the point differential advantage), Miami loses at least one game and have a lower point differential, and whoever is second place in group C to also have a low differential (in case they also go 3-1)

  • Yeah I mean that usually happens when a very talented player gets chances to be the number one option. I think the issue rn with Mobley’s development is that I think he’s focusing on the wrong moves. He’s working on posting up when he should probably keep continuing his face up game. I know he’s been working on extending his range so I didn’t mention it. He shouldn’t be posting up true centers that have the weight/strength advantage. He should try to outspeed them instead of posting them up. I do agree that the team lacks good playmakers outside of garland and Mitchell (to an extent I still think he’s more scoring coded than Garland). LeVert shows some playmaking at times but not consistently enough imo.
