Both nice cars, can’t go wrong. The price difference makes sense. I also opted to spend 63k vs 85k. Like your choice of interiors, really looks good and matches the personality of the car.

Nice. Just talking about this model. u/MBTHM
Hopefully you just need a software update. Try under settings. Had to take my 19 G14 in to get updated by the dealer but then it worked.
Very nice. How many miles of you don’t mind?
Yeah coming from Tesla that’s rough. Same here. They need a bigger screen, not just wider. The problem is they keep iterating instead of keeping up with technology. That said I prefer the stock nav over android auto.
Why is your window so dirty. People in dirty glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.
Drove an X3 m40i for 2 weeks, it wasn’t as fast as I expected. My friend bought an X4 xDrive 30 and I am very pleasantly surprised with the quickness. Now if you’re making the compromise of a 3 series for fun, I would do the B58 for sure.
That color is hot from the Midwest to Miami.
Couldn’t have made a better recommendation myself.
Do it yourself for much cheaper. Brake fluid is hygroscopic and needs to be replaced eventually. The eventually can vary.
Nice spec. What’s the warranty situation?
The top is not supposed to be up. It’s more of a rain cover.
M850i here.
Maintenance will be very similar. B58 is a great motor. Cars are very different.
8 series is still not roomy in the back for family use. Granted I have a convertible but the seats are not usable at all.
Clip for a body part. Likely the plastic under the car. It has broken off whatever it was a part of.
Only reason I think about the M8 as an M850i owner is for the RWD fun. ZL1 spoiled me. If they come out with xDelete for it then I’ll be very happy.
M850i here. Friend has the i3. It’s very much a BMW. Both of ours say carbon core 😊 It has a different purpose and it serves that purpose very well. Vastly superior quality to most EV/hybrids. Very reliable and last a long time.
Yes. Buy a $5 tube of syl glide. Use a rag, wipe clean your door seals. Then apply a small amount of syl glide using the rag to draw it across the seal. Prevents water from getting in between the seals. This is something that is done at higher end dealers when cars get an oil change. See Porsche.
