VLC with its remote play feature.

Just drag and drop any video files from a laptop to a browser tab, even a whole series if you want to. It will download it to the ATV’s storage and you can watch them whenever, flawlessly, with subtitles and everything. Best. App. Ever.

Well, for now, I’m restarting the phone daily for a few days, if I still experience the issues then I’ll just factory reset the phone and edit the post if it solved it. Thanks for the answers.

Don’t really have a choice, have to have it for ios development.
