If this is actually true, I just find it really really strange. What does anyone outside of professional NFL coaches or players know about the nuances of defensive schemes like 4-3 or 3-4? And the personnel needed to run it? And the implications on secondary, etc?

These are all some idiotic quotes. Anyone who watches the games can see Bryce is NOT the problem - it’s the coaching and personnel around him. And keeping this coaching staff and trotting Bryce out there every week to get killed would have been idiotic. Tepper made the right move by moving on quickly before we permanently scar Bryce.
Look, we can say all day that the trade up to get Bryce was stupid, that it would’ve been better to have the #1-2 pick this next draft with a much better QB class, etc. etc. I’m not even sold on Bryce myself - I think it remains to be seen if he’s the guy. But unfortunately we are where we are, and we need to invest in and protect Bryce as our QB1 and get him some good coaching/scheming. Firing Reich is a small step in the right direction.
The no back to back winning seasons is true, but I think that minimizes the success and excitement that this team did generate. Both John Fox and Ron Rivera took us to a super bowl and multiple deep playoff runs within a span of 15 years. That’s a hell of an overall track record that many fanbases would kill for. And if I’m not mistaken under Rivera we were division champions 3 years in a row (though one of those years we were 7-8-1).
It’s not revisionist history to say that OVERALL we had a hell of a good franchise in the pre-Tepper years.
At the end of the day, it’s a results-oriented business. You can say circumstances, what ifs, etc. but at the end of the day there’s NO clearer result than your team’s record. And out of the 4 major sports leagues, the Panthers have I believe the 3rd lowest winning percentage in the past 6 six years - and that’s after Tepper inherited an 11 win team that made the playoffs. And that is why we hate Tepper - ultimately, the buck stops with the owner of the team.
Things like trying to take away the ‘Keep Pounding’ mantra, turf, etc. are all annoying. But that’s all 5-10% of the issue. The real issue that has us all pissed off is the record. Period. The coaching hiring / firing, QB decisions and all contribute to that terrible record so come under scrutiny and have all clearly been missteps given the record.

Interesting perspective as a PSL owner! How has that experience been - do you get much engagement beyond going to the games (special events, meet the players, etc.)?
I feel like the best time to buy a PSL is probably times like these where there’s a dip in popularity. Any thoughts on buying and if you’d recommend? Have always debated.
Yup beggars unfortunately can’t be choosers. Need to go with whatever position is deepest by the time we pick. Ideally on offense to continue giving Bryce a chance to compete.
But aside from Olinemen, how else do you propose we help Bryce? RB is not at all a good investment anymore. And trading for / hoping a true WR1 comes on the market seems unrealistic (even if they do, who is ever going to opt for the shitshow that is the panthers currently).
We’ve been awful at scouting WR talent, but that doesn’t mean we stop taking shots. Ideally, we get a new FO that can identify real talent.
The Godfather. I was pretty underwhelmed by the book if I’m being honest - like it was maybe a 6.5/10 for me. And that’s after going in wanting to love it after watching the movie, and expecting it to be better since that’s usually the case.
The movie is an absolute masterpiece and so well done.
